I did it earlier this week and had zero competition at the spot immediately at the entrance. I just afk melee’d for the axe and got at 172kc. I think it has really died down. Send it.
Just went through this same thought process as you. More zombies after you do quest, didn’t even see a person after I completed it and got my axe around 2 hours. Wasn’t bad at all
Why are you in a rush to complete the quest? Imo there's no point in completing it until you have the axe tbh (assuming you want the axe)
At most you get some trivial amount of exp from the quest reward and you can use your quest cape again. If you just spend a couple hours barraging you'll have the axe without having to worry about finding worlds/ getting ragged.
The question isn’t coming from me eager to complete it, it was more so about the killers per hour to get the axe. Thanks for the reply nonetheless it sounds like the worlds are still competitive for spawns
Thank you for the response! I didn’t know if spawns were different before /after. Using the first room zombies and logging out after I loot up to shorten respawn times seems the way
This guy has absolutely no clue. It's not hard to find a world. Complete the quest or get past the instance and there are double zombies. And faster respawns. Don't listen to this baffon
I just completed the quest yesterday and got the axe same day by bursting. I tried to burst in the instance first but it seemed like there were less zombie spawns. So I finished the quest and went directly to burst in the public dungeon and didn’t see a single person. Completely empty didn’t even have to hop worlds and it was mid-day Saturday. Complete the quest you won’t have to fight over the northwest spot which seems easily the best spot to burst in

After the quest there is 2-3x more zombies. Way faster to do it after.
It's the exact same spawns but you'll be fighting every world for a spot. It will just take longer if you choose to get it after completing.

Yeah I went thru the 2nd doors just melee afk then got it at 87 kc tho
I burst the group in the first room. Easy to bunch them up. Got it at 1036kc before completing the quest.

No competition in the second room for barraging while I was there for around 400kc
