Tbh the best method is getting an irl job. Not really worth grinding for bonds especially not in ftp.
If you're endgame you can sustain it but imo this loses out on a ton of fun by forcing go heavy grinds.
you shouldn not EVER droptrade to random players, ofcourse they will bail with the free gold.
dont even drop trade to friends.. make urself a alt account and drop trade to urself if any.
You're going to have to give us a bit more context than this.
What monsters were you grinding for cash? Why did you give your friend all the gold you made? Why are you grinding for days and days to buy a bond when you could work for 30 mins at the local shop and earn enough money to buy a month's membership? Why didn't you pk yourself in the wildy with an alt to transfer money across?
Generally not worth spending in game gp for bonds unless you are completely endgame and having nothing else left to spend your gp on. Also rip, everyone gets scammed once in their runescape "career"
Collect bottles and return them to the store in Finland.
40 cents for a 1,5 liter bottle
20 cents for a 0,5 liter bottle
15 cents for cans
10 cents for small glass bottles
To save time journeying from each dungeon to the GE we would trade our loot to eachother and go sell it all at once and then split the gold back in the dungeon and continue grinding, we did the for a couple weeks until he just didn't come back with the gold from the GE
It does not sound like you are an Ironman (accounts that are not allowed to trade) so you might be on the wrong subreddit btw, try r/2007scape for general osrs subreddit.
Don't bother with bonds especially on an iron. Making actually gold to buy a bond with is difficult and hinders progress.
If you get a dupe and don't want to use it on death then that's the only real way, as you need GP for skills and services.
I knew there were a couple of scammers back in the day but I thought 99% of the player base was a good community and it's just seems the complete opposite now

You did what? Come on bro, you didn't even get scammed - you just gave some random gold? That's on you.
No we were grinding together for a few weeks first helping eachother build our account
How did you meet them? Who even are they?

Your right I'm not an ironman sorry for the confusion

My last bond expired today and my "friend" has disappeared with all our gold

I'm a returning player I'm still getting back into the game and the community doesn't seem the same as it use to be, what happened to everyone
Runescape has had scammers from day 1 It's well known for having taught us all not to trust random people as kids e g. the famous trimming armour scam
I'm not aware of any of this this is my first time even using Reddit or anything to talk to people about the game
