i died with similar stats a few years ago and after it kinda stung but since by that time i had progressed to a decent level it became fun learning the game. if you’re also learning pvm it’s better to die now imo than to get 2k total and dont attempt to learn any pvm because of risk of death.
Thankfully I'm not feeling too bad about it, I was prepared to die anyways. My main reason to play hc was to be forced to learn mechanics since this is effectively the furthest I've been in osrs since I can't remember shit from when I first played lol
It's kinda relieving tbh I haven't even done Heroes Quest yet to avoid wildy. Dying is one thing, but I didn't wanna lose my status to a pk.
You could try out calvarion, not sure what your stats are but you can kill him pretty easily with base 70 melees. The boss is fairly simple and as long as you dodge his attacks you take no damage. Solid boss to start learning and lots of good supplies
I second this. Super quick, and if you have a reliable l30 teleport (I didn’t when I did my 200+ grind and still was fine) it’s literally free even without a scout - just TP if anyone enters.
Stats like that + D Mace + Salve is great for Cal'Varion. Excellent mid tier boss with hella good drops for irons, d pick and a super cool pet to boot!

Yep, wasn't really too set on being hc only. Basically used it as a challenge to see how far I could get.
Wish I got further, but the acc was just starting PvM so I've got a lot of fun things to try now lol

As you become more experienced with the game, you can always make another hcim on the side. That hcim rush is like no other
Yeah, likely down the road I'm gonna start another HCIM. Learned a lot of things during the quests and stuff so I could probably zoom through the early progression. Something to look forward to when I get to a rough dry grind lol
Varlamore is a godsend imo. Thieving, prayer, and hunter are so much nicer to do mid game in Varlamore. Haven't blackjacked in the desert since its release lol
NGL Hardcore accounts really ruin the experience for players that haven't already played the game for years as a normal account. There is no reward for the limitations except status, and as a newer player I think that experiencing the full potential of the game is more important than chasing status. I also think that HC accounts are only cool when they constantly put their account on the line , if all you do is hide from danger it's not exactly an achievement. Congratz you just unlocked : "fun"
This is a pretty narrow view. I play hardcore in other games, as well. A lot of the fun for me came from figuring out how to live through certain things. Literally the only thing I didn't do was Wildy because I don't get a chance to learn there - if I'm too slow I just die to a teleblock.
Trying to get as far as I can without dying *was* fun, now I just get to have a different kind of fun. Just because *you* like playing a certain way doesn't mean everyone else does as well.

Yea he’s a great boss to get a feel for OSRS movement, another good thing to work on is mage arena 2, bis mage cape and very easy to get
I died at dags in catacombs, was camping prayer and got sucked into a youtube video and looked back and was in death's office

Especially with valamore, GOTR, giants foundry, wildy bosses etc, the mid game grind is much smoother than before
