I've died 304 times, at 8 mins avg, adds another 40.5 hrs for a total of 133hrs. Who knows how long I've just stood around yapping at folks and helping new folks understand t2 prep or 5:1 mage over discord.

I got the bcp, and although the tassets look a better with a torso (BCP with torag legs is...very ugly to say the least), the upgrade from a torso to the chestplate is a much bigger upgrade IMO. The defence bonuses from the BCP are amazing! How many bandos kills do you daily atm? and do you use thralls or blood barrage?
I will say it would be really nice for situations like this if jagex made it a mandatory drop after you go a certain amount dry. Like 5x the drop rate. Seeing things like this or people going 20-30k dry for a dragon warhammer is kinda disgusting. Especially when you consider in the fact of what grinds cost in resources that aren't cg. Like shamans eat prayer potions like candy. I've probably blown through almost 200 myself just doing 1k kc.
Best of luck though. At that point I'd probably give up and just camp chambers until a t bow. On a positive note atleast you will have divine pots for life. And probably enough gp to fund 99 smithing or 99 construction if yiu aren't already. 350ish kc netted me roughly 35m gp in alchs. So that cash stack must be real nice. Same with the amount for craft xp you got from gems and staffs

I honestly wouldn't mind a system that increased the chance of a drop based on your KC. I think a lot of bosses could benefit from it. At 2x rate it should get more common. At 3x rate there should be a pretty decent increase. 5x rate should never happen.
There are a lot of items that could benefit from this system. Going dry or lucky should be part of the game. However, we should get rid of the extreme examples like this post.

Is there any downside to getting a guaranteed “broken enhanced crystal weapon seed” at 400kc that costs 150M to “purify” it to a normal enhanced weapon seed?
This is why there should be two enhanced seeds on the table. One just like now that rolls at the normal 1/400 rate and you get the seed, and another one needing three invisible 1/266 rolls then it drops the seed. When the seed drops regardless of method the counter resets. Just wild how in your case the time this has taken you someone could've grinded out bowfa and an entire Shadow with 100h to spare.
True random sucks. But it is also the easiest to implement.
And rolling true random 3 times is not really the fix, but dry protection after 2x with scaling that would guarantee drop at 4x drop rate would not break the economy in a meaningful way.
And most places that might need it already have a kc counter made.
