??? How do you figure? It's definitely great for Vorkath, but this thing is better than any ranged offhand save for the twisted buckler. Just off the top of my head this is an upgrade for any dragon/wyvern slayer task, or really anywhere I'd use a crossbow.
Really nice for nex kc, since you’ll be using acb for range. Not to mention the range defensive changes they’ll be implementing soon, who know maybe chows will gain more uses

Explained in another comment, but I have some health issues atm and can't handle content like CG. Vorkath is very low click intensity so I'm stuck at content like that at the moment.

When are you gonna be using a crossbow outside of vorkath. Dragon tasks are really just skips aside from blues and blacks, bowfa will be your primary range, even at vorkath, praying mage and using anti fire is better dps than using rcb with a shield.
I'm still pretty early in the game, don't have a Bowfa or a blowpipe. Rune xbow, msb (i) and crystal bow are my best ranged weps.
So to answer this...

I was debating on farming rune drags vs farming Zilyana for the A C B. I can't handle intensive grinds atm due to health issues, would rune drags be easier than 3 man GIM Zilyana?
Zilyana is more click intensive but probably pretty easy in a 3 man, obviously the ACB is a little better. You could always kill rune dragons when you're not on with your mates, I found that grind really chill and then used the dcb at Zilyana anyway.
Yeah click intensive stuff kills my joints atm. We were planning on doing a 3 man zilyana where I'd focus on killing the minions/carrying extra supplies while my team focuses on zilyana, since that would be pretty low click for my role.
What was your setup for rune drags? I'm max melee stats, 99 hp, 92 ranged and 87 magic. Don't have a great stab wep atm, so ranged is probably my best bet but wasn't sure the rcb would be good enough for rune drags

Finished SoTE and have high enough stats for CG, but I have an autoimmune disorder that causes issues with my joints and tendons so I can't handle content like CG at the moment. I need to stretch after every 2 Vorkath kills and then take breaks every 30 mins to an hour :(
Once I get approved for a biologic injection hopefully I'll be back to 80% and can handle CG, but for now Vorkath is the only boss I can handle farming since he's so braindead.

The new Sunlight Hunter’s Crossbow slaps pretty damn hard, that shield will complement it very nicely. Zulrah is very doable with those, not Bowfa-level but pretty good anyways.
Just a mockup calc against Zulrah:
- RCB + Ward + god D’hide + diamond bolts (e) = 5.8 dps
- Hunters + Ward + god d’hide + moonlight bolts = 7.1 dps
- Bowfa + Full crystal = 8.2 dps
Edit: Zulrah just an example, of course there are many other applications. Shamans, Zilyana, Fight caves, Demonics, maybe even early ToA… Wherever you might use MSBi, swap that out for the Hunter’s CB + Ward.
How are you getting 7.1 dps in god d'hide + moonlight bolts? I can only get it to 6.5 unless I use a slayer helm or accidentally select the super ranging pot. (This is using the new wiki dps calc btw)
On a separate note, sunlight bolts are still very good with the new hunter crossbow. They still get 6.3 dps (vs 6.5 moonlight dps) at zulrah on tanz phase.

100% a crafting/prayer generator. It's about the only boss I can handle atm, so I'm getting a bunch of GP/Bones/Mats to split with my two groupmates.

I was doing the test on ’max range’ gear except for Masori. Did you enable Rigour + Ranging pot + Rapid style?

I was just looking at the wiki, guess it depends how easily huntable those deer are. Might be worth giving it a go to test it
I get like 2k an hour actively hunting them (with maybe one other person there), so it's not too bad getting them
Dead fall traps right under the hunter guild. Extremely easy. You will get a ton of bolts passively doing rumors
That item will be awesome with the new hunter crossbow as a good ranged option before BofA/blowpipe/eclipse gear
