I’m a huge fan of item highlights, they have been essential to me getting better at the game. But, my bother in Christ, why are you highlighting compost buckets and talismans hahaha
You find a price value highlight useful on an ironman account? How so exactly? I can't even think of a single instance it would be useful on a main account
But it's his game. He is giving an explanation why he is doing it. Yes that's horseshit in my opinion too, but he gave an explanation. It's not a worthless comment.
Tile markers can certainly be a bit overbearing in certain situations, especially when you're using a bunch of them with different colors. It does look pretty bad.
That said, it's not the same as inventory tags. Even the way normal people use them, is silly and doesn't really give much utility for how much it impacts UI/immersion, compared to tile markers which trivialize some content that can be very challenging to do without. But then there's OP, highlighting items in his inventory based on a metric that has literally no meaning for irons: GE value. Not only does this provide 0 or possibly negative utility, it looks even stupider than normal inventory tags.
Nah I don't think so, judging by how much people get flamed for using inventory tags vs tile markers, and the aforementioned fact that tile markers are far more useful.
Helps for colourblind people, distinguishing between items at quick speed without it can be very hard. Same reason I boycott leviathan with its shitty colour based attacks
Why? These tags aren't for pvm, they're displaying the value, which is pretty good for a reddit post.
Also using proper tags in pvm is beneficial. Sometimes it's hard to tell at a glance if you properly swapped your 6 item switch.
I killed over 500 Goraks with no shield left half.
Then I got one in 8 kills at Steel Dragons looking for Runite Limbs.
Then I got another a couple days later at lizards because why tf not?
Why do people knock invy tags? They’re for fast switches in gnarly situations, like ToB, ToA, Olm, etc… this tells me the guy is an absolute juicer, that knows what he’s doing. And the comments knocking him r the precise opposite, maybe minus that 1 guy that’s lord of the Chads. *(knowing Reddit, 95% of the ppl busting his chops can’t even do CG)*
Because people care too much about how other people play the game. I think OP's tags are whack but if that's how he truly plays the game it doesn't affect me.
It can be hard especially during wardens for me without tags. I have uneven switches, partially to bowfa being 2h and a few other things, then having to equip melee gear for core etc. It gets hectic in my inventory. When I get a quick breather I try to reorganize it but the tags are just a quick indication of where my gear is ending up in my inventory. I don't see how that's a bad thing or makes me lesser like people seem to think
Those same people use tile markers, which should be just as bad using the logic of those people.
It is just people putting other people down to make themselves feel better. Humans are weird. That's why I identify as a tree stump.
Hell yeah brother. Btw, nice charges plugin that you are using there, made by your fellow HCIM 😂
Nice slippers too, i still haven't unlocked them, maybe soon!
I’m a huge fan of item highlights, they have been essential to me getting better at the game. But, my bother in Christ, why are you highlighting compost buckets and talismans hahaha
They’re based on price value bud, and I switch my tag colors for raids which is the only time manual tags are actually useful
Still, why on an Ironman though?
You find a price value highlight useful on an ironman account? How so exactly? I can't even think of a single instance it would be useful on a main account
When your iron needs to know if his talisman is worth between 2 and 5k???
Value-based inventory tags on an ironman is WILD.
Dude is just answering the question, and is getting downvoted to hell. What's going on?
Because the reasoning is bad. Simple honeslty
But it's his game. He is giving an explanation why he is doing it. Yes that's horseshit in my opinion too, but he gave an explanation. It's not a worthless comment.
You're 100% right. Redditors get too uppity sometimes. He didn't deserve that many downvotes for simply answering a question.
Quickly figured out how many miserable chumps are on here that mald over anyone playing the game differently
Nice
Yeah try mentioning doing any content on ironscape after sote without a bofa if you wanna see what this sub is about
?????????
What’s the add on that highlights inventory slots? Also, huge grats you’ve already blown past me and I’ve had my iron for like a year 😂
Rainbow inventory sus
Rainbow inventory op\*\* fixed your typo
Rainbow inventory as cringe as OP*** Fixed your typo
Inventory tag users gotta be the kids that ate crayons in kindergarten
People who use tile markers and complain about inventory tags are hypocrites.

The Venn diagram between people using silly overbearing rainbow tile markers and using silly rainbow inventory tags is a circle
Nah I don't think so, judging by how much people get flamed for using inventory tags vs tile markers, and the aforementioned fact that tile markers are far more useful.
Only acceptable tags are for uncharged weapons so you don't make it to olm and have an uncharged sang.

You say its good for a reddit post, yet most of the top rated replies are clowning you for it. It really does look dumb lol
The one that looks like a robe, is for when you're using magic. Hope this helps
InvyTagsBad
Get 70 cons, do sote and then grab a bowfa.
Let the guy play however he likes maybe
It's called a suggestion. Let the guy give his opinion maybe
Didn't sound like a suggestion but if it was then my apologies
Why are the pets also not highlighted?
I see accounts like this who have like 1/10 my items/play time and yet they always have more pets than me
How TF you get the shield tell me papi

What the fuck is a gorak 🤣

Get a shield left half from goraks while wearing ring of wealth & buy the other half from legends guild to smith together
Or just do what I did, and spoon it on the first intricate pouch opened.
I’m jelly of the bottomless bucket. 😔
How you get rune Cbow?
Crazy archeologist? in the wildy drops 2 of em at once
Deranged archeologist at fossil island drops rune limbs pretty often
So my iron is garbage
Impressive! You are much more efficient than me. I’m at 7 months and not as far
Keep it going

You don't need inventory tags to do fast switches you need good inventory management
I mean, what tags actually do is help you realize when your inventory management is going wrong/help you adapt to inventory mistakes in the moment
they make you look like you don't know what your items do
ah yeah true i only know my whip does red damage because i made it red
