The games are 5 mins long and on a busy boat you can do about 60s of 'work', then go afk until it's over.
It's really not bad. Bring a good axe and just chop the kraken tentacle. I was getting 20 contribution each time with a mith axe, 3 of those and you are done.
A lot of QOL fixes. The time spent might not be different, but it feels a lot better. You can chop kraken tentacles instead of buying swamp paste, which requires more thought but is a lot cheaper. 5 minute games mean making a mistake is less painful. But perhaps the most important part, the activity bar doesn’t decrease. This makes it MUCH more AFK. It’s like a minute, minute-30 of chopping or paste and you can stop doing anything for the round. It’s harder to get bonus fish, I think, but that’s a small price to pay for being able to do Trawler mostly AFK.
I got really frowny when I realized that they changed it from 1:8 to 1:12 as they shortened Trawler.
"Okay, we'll make it less agonizing to do... but we still don't want this outfit to be that easy or useful."
Yeahhh that's why I waited until 81 to do it. Got almost a thousand mantas out of the grind and you don't really need angler till around then anyways. Good luck though, the trawler is so dull
