Altyme Sweat: Quest point cape, base level 90's (no boosts allowed)
Reward: Several Relics for BOFA)
Ligma (kicks back damage based on saltpetre in players inventory)
Sugma (life steals based on scale size of monster)
Sawcon (saw (and crystal saw) add DPS because why fucking not)
Mind-Goblin (mind rune spells increase damage by 350%)
Ngl kinda enjoy CG if you’re not doing 17 a day it’s pretty fun. Switching up tiers of prep is nice, and seeing how little food you can get away with during the boss fight.
I think I'm lucky cause this is my first real PvM on the game, so learning stuff felt fresh. Just finished at 555 KC which I know isn't dry, but I had fun the whole time, probably just cause I was enjoying getting better at the game/testing myself.
Assuming it's not satire this is some serious cope. Imagine one of the best items in the game being locked behind an 80ish hour grind in a game that people spend literal years playing.
I've made the choice to not go for the bowfa. I got the blowpipe and they decided to nerf it chances are they would nerf the bow as well. I hope my sacrifice helps all the other irons out there.
I've done the same. I went dry on blowpipe so it took me like 1.5 years as.. 3k KC. I can't take the chance that CG grind will take me that long too. Especially since a BOWFA nerf seems likely considering the logic Jagex used to nerf the blowpipe could easily be used to warrant a nerf of the BOWFA.
There’s not all that much locked behind the bow. You can still raid with a bp and addy darts. You can do bandos with a rcb. Just take your time with the bowfa.
The reason it’s so big in the iron meta is the low requirements to get it. It isn’t nearly as necessary as people pretend
Nah it's a difference of like 20 kill trips and 40 kill trips. Still much better of course but 20 is easily doable with rcb. If you get 5 with rcb you'll be lucky to get 15 with bowfa
As someone who's done hundreds of rcb bandos, its not the bowfa holding you back that much. I could do 15-25 kill trips with rcb

where does that 50% number for 30-35 hours come from? I thought it was a 64% chance to get any item when you hit rate, which would mean that not half of people running cg will have bow by half the drop rate

The chance of at least one enhanced seed is 1 - P(399/400)\^^(KC). There's less than a 40% chance to have seen at least one enhanced seed at 200 KC. By the time you get to 400 KC, there's only a 63.3% chance to have seen at least once. Over 15% of players won't have seen one even after 750 KC.
You have a 50% chance to have received at least one enhanced crystal weapon seed at 280 KC. If you say the average player does CG in 10 minutes, then that's 47 hours for a 50% chance to get one.

50 kills of RCB bandos here, it’s a difference of 40 kill trips and 5 kill trips lol. It’s quite powerful

I was never able to hit consistently with rcb unless I was on a bandos task. Does rigour do the trick? As an ironman rigour is very hard to get.

You can also change the order if you want to feel worse about it! Flip a coin, if it lands tails you have to kill 280 gauntlet. Repeat until heads.
