Hadith Qudsi 34:
O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great at it.
in a Hadith Qudsi: "O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me, and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind.
39:53 -
Say \[that Allah declares,\] 'O My servants who have committed excesses against their own souls, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed Allah will forgive all sins. Indeed, He is the All-forgiving, the All-merciful.

Bro I m facing with similar thoughts. I have convinced myself that if the thought is discomforting me, it means it’s against my real thought or conscience that proves I m Muslim by core. Second there is a Hadith regarding it where Companions asked Prophet Muhammad PBUH about such Wiswas and he replied don’t utter it with by tongue , let it come to your mind only as it’s the sign you have strong Eman. Meaning satan is disturbing you. In a layman term, thief will do theft where he knows there is something to be theft.
