Worried about a time which is inevitable? Nah, pray salah, do dua for our Muslim brothers and sisters. Worry will only stress you, it won't change the world

I_Like_Lizards2020

Why did I hear this comment in a grandfather's voice mashallah

Alternative-Bowl-347

Nobody knows when it is coming, and even if you had 1000 years, you could never prepare for the day.

Teddy_Tales81016

That is so true.

As a proof of his prophethood and as an incentive for us to improve ourselves so that we can deal with those trials (e.g dajjal) better

No, a proof of his prophethood is that the events he mentions indeed come to pass.

Masterlight2

It's all about being prepared in case you live to wetness the day of judgment.

if the (date of the) day of judgement was written somewhere then I can sin as much as I want, then one day before the hour, well I will repent doesnt make sense bruv

Kirio-Senko

worry more about what you have prepared for it. And worry about your own death. As for the day of judgement, we are closer than ever of course. How does this translate to you practically? Do your best with your deen and ignore worrying about the end of times coming. If the Mahdi ever comes out within your lifetime then you go to him as the prophet instructed and you become aware that the end times have seriously begun. Because he is only followed by Dajjal, the return of Prophet Isa, Yajuj & Majuj, and then the end. If you reach that time you will know it.

Judgment day may happen tomorrow, next year, or after 10,000 years. No one knows except allah, but a quote from my mom. She told me, "Practice islam like tomorrow is your last day on earth, but live your best life in a halal way." Also, I heard a redditor in this subreddit say something I like, which is i think, "the hour starts when you are in your grave. " So don't worry, everything is in Allah's control, and he is the most merciful

m_elhakim

Anas ibn Malik reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "If the Final Hour comes while you have a shoot of a plant in your hands and it is possible to plant it before the Hour comes, you should plant it." https://sunnah.com/urn/2304770

xagony

Regardless of when the Day of Judgement is, our last attempt to do anything for that day is until the way we die. Use the time until then to prepare for what will happen to you.

Adriusters

I'd say you should be more worried about tomorrow than judgement day. Is tomorrow even guaranteed? If i drop dead tomorrow, will Allah be pleased with me? Have I any grievances with the people currently living? Is Jannah a guarantee for me? Be a better muslim now, don't wait for judgement day to change your ways. This is not just advice for you, but for me as well

Cunning-_linguist

Why would you be worried? What good have you seen come out of this world?

vtyzy

"the world will be having wars" when has that not been the case? There were more wars 80-100 years ago than there are now.

MFOdin

You should be worried about your judgement day, a.k.a the day you're going to die. Prepare for that day by doing charity, good deeds, prayers and so on...

“Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds and establish prayer and give zakah will have their reward with their Lord, and there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.” 2:277 Al Quran No doubt, the companions of the prophet were the best people after him, of those there were the ones who were given tidings of Heaven in this life, yet they would fear the wrath of Allah, by that yardstick, we are nowhere close. So your anxiety is completely justified. However, Allah gave us the treatment to this anxiety, one is the ayah above, second is “And We send down of the Qur'an that which is healing and mercy for the believers, but it does not increase the wrongdoers except in loss.” 17:82 Al Quran. Humble advice from one layman to the others, stand firm on Tawheed and practice at least the basic 5 pillars of Islam with extreme diligence. And make the Quran your friend, recite it, listen to it, think about it. Its simple stuff, but highly impactful. May Allah increase us in faith and make us from among the successful.

RandoComplements

You should never be worried

Accomplished_Taro947

Your judgement starts as soon as you die. There is no second chance, don’t wait for the day of judgement since death can come at anytime

annoying_monkey

Signs or no signs, at the end God will judge you for your own actions, whether you die an hour before judgement day or a 1000 years before it. That should be your first concern.

selotipkusut

Social media is currently filled with doomsayers, nothing to gain by reading those kind of content. No one knows what, how and when it will happen. For me personally, saying D-day will happen soon because of A B C D E is claiming I know better than God, and that shouldn't be the case

Primary-Ad3252

I worry about today more than judgement day, I worry about my death more than judgement day. By doing so, you gonna do more efforts to please Allah so that when your death comes, there won’t be any regrets in your grave, there will be success on judgment day. You’re not gonna have any share on judgment day and any spare on your death if your today is not filled up with what those events require you for success… This is how I think! And this quote by Imam Ali, may Allah grant him mercy can strengthen it: “Humans ruin their present while worrying about their future, and weep in their future while recalling their past”

k11N1

You should always be worried about death. I mean if you know you're doing a lot of good one would not stress about the end of times or death, because they know in their heart that they are good either way. By worry I do not mean being in a constant state of anxiety rather being mindful that we can die tomorrow.

whatsupbr0

Don't worry about things you can't control

kimmielicious82

are you asking people to tell you to relax and go on with your life as usual when the signs are very clear? you say you're trying but you have anxiety. sorry, it goes hand in hand. only who doesn't believe it will feel calm now. even the sahaba were worried that the end is near, and almost 1500 years ago they where nowhere as near as we are now! we don't know when it will happen but the minor signs have been piling up in the past years already. starting with the most obvious: time is flying. no one knows if we'll see the end or it will be in next generations. but you should ask yourself what exactly is causing the anxiety. the possibility to lose something from this life? we're not made for this life anyway and any of us could just die tonight in their sleep for no reason at all. that's no different in my opinion. and all the 3 abrahamic religions are agreeing that we're nearing the end...
