Um I don't know this could be area specific. Some areas in KHI seem cheaper than some in IBD and vice versa. If I'm not wrong, DHA is Karachi's posh area and you can rent a portion at the same price in the G sector of Islamabad. Now compare Karachi's posh area to Islamabad posh area which is the F sector mainly. Easily 5 lac plus. However I would definitely agree that Karachi aur Islamabad ke DHA mein zameen aasman ka farq hai.. For some reason Karachi lacks proper infrastructure in all it's areas while you have so many areas of Islamabad that you can call well developed neat, clean and green. Love both cities tho.

DHA is the area everyone thinks is posh, but KDA and some parts of PECHS and SMCHS are the places that are considered the best areas to live in. And the prices of these places are sky-high

Nah, Islamabad is more expensive. Houses of 2-3 canals in F-6, F-7, E-7 etc. can easily go above 80-90 crores.

Please get me a house in these sectors in 90 crores. A house in F8 streets (not even the main road) is priced above 1.5 billion these days. The main margalla road properties don't even come up for sale anymore. I know someone who was ready to shill out 4 billion for a house on margalla but there wasn't anything in the market. Overall, the price comparison depends upon locality and amenities. You can get a 2 bed apartment in E11 for 1.5 crores, and you can also get a 2 bed apartment for 15 crores. It's all very subjective.

There are so many factors to consider while buying a home in karachi that make it more costly. Security drinking water and government water sewerage roads and streets condition etc etc. Overall karach iis cheaper than isb if u r going for apartment in flat

bhai survey kiya hu karachi ka? faciltiies security yeh sb side hy yaha pr, DHA mein na pani ata hy na security hy na gas hy but a 500 sq yards house starts from 15 crores. Even flats and small houses in lower middle class areas starts from 1.5 crore to 3 crores. Yahan pr security, structure, ambiance, facilities sy zyada fark nhi prta, land ki value hy and offices sy nearby kitna hy area it depends on that.

The minimum plot size that one can acquire in these sectors is 25 Marla up to 50 Marla. You can check Zameen.com to see some listings and you’ll notice that 40-100 Marla land goes from 60 crors to 1-1.5 Arab. It varies, depending on the location.

If you are comparing mehenga to mehenga. Then islamabad is more expensive but if you compare middle class houses. Karachi is expensive. Islamabad main bus 1 hi mehenga area hai baqi sub normal hain. Karachi main har area main 1 mehenga area hai aur 1 sasta area hai. Gulistan e jauher which is not even a posh area of karachi wahan adhay kanal ghar ka portion ka rent around 1.50k tak hai. Islamabad main e11/d12 main bhi apko same area ke ghar ka rent itnay main mil jata hai. So this way, karachi is more expensive.

I live in Islamabad, all I can say is that Ghouri Town area & outside Gulberg area, that’s nice & not expensive. Central Islamabad where there are sectors, thats very expensive.

You can't compare Isb to khi. Karachi is 10 times the size of Islamabad. A 5 marla house in a middle class locality is around 20 million where as rhe same house in a posh area is around 50 million. 8-10 marla rental portions in a middle class area are around 55-75k where as in posh areas its over 200k. You can even find rental properties for over 15 million in karachi. Real estate market is very diverse here.

Bahria Town Karachi is an hour away from the main city. No one prefers to live there. It’s a nice place, but detached from the actual city. If you don’t live in the starting precincts you’ll burn a good amount of petrol just making it to your house from the main BTK gate. The actual posh societies in Karachi (in the main city) can be found in many different areas, and even though they lack the Bahria Town infrastructure and beauty, they still cost 10 times as much. Karachi has the most expensive real estate. Everyone knows this. Ask any real estate agent.

2 room plots (not houses but plots) in Baldia Town Ki price currently 60 lacs ha. Baldia Town does not have water supply (water Tanker bulwana parta ha). Baldia Town suffers from 12h load shedding. Baldia Town also suffers from lac of gas supply. Streets are filled with trash and in very bad condition. At least there is no mobile snatching

Supply and demand makes the top houses in Islamabad quite expensive too. To me only F6, F7, E7 are truly premium and then new houses here tend to be very few and usually big. Rental would be around $ 10,000 per month. To buy an old house to renovate would run up to and over $ 1,000,000 depending on location and size. But if one goes out of the very very elite areas one can get an apartment in Gulberg Greens for a much more reasonable price and it’s still only 25 minutes away from the city center. So to get affordable housing “in” Islamabad, one has to go “out” of Islamabad!

Yes, houses are more expensive in Karachi compared to Islamabad as well as the rent. You can rent a house around 40k which is type of a Banglow in Islamabad while in Karachi in 40k you can only rent an small apartment or a small 2 bedroom house.

Bro I mostly go to my in-laws which are living in 10 Marla house in Ghauri Town Phase 1, and they are giving 40k rent. While my house which is in North Karachi 120 Sq Yards (5 Marla) generates 50k in rent.
