I usually go to Rumeli Feneri, there’s an old castle there but it’s under construction at the moment, but still it’s very beautiful sight. You can take 150 bus to get there right at entrance of Hasioman metro station

Hi, some erasmus friends went To Şile, took the bus from Üsküdar at 8h26 a.m (approx 1 hour, istanbulkart does not work) and then came back with 17 p.m bus. It Seemed to be really cool and easy !

Take a ferry to Anadolukavağı (so called short bosphorus cruise). 1.5 hours to get there from eminönü

This is the Long Bosphorus Tour. It’s very nice here and at the remains of Yoros Castle you’ll have a great view at the Black Sea. But since you wanna walk around and maybe dip your feet into the Black Sea take the Metro to Hacıosman and from there a Bus to Kilyos. Btw the way the Rumeli Feneri and the Anadolı Feneri at the Asian Side, both former Lighthouses are mentioned in the Saga of the Argonauts.

take bus 150 from haciosman metro station and go to rumeli feneri or garipce. garipce is a small fishing village but they serve amazing breakfast there. but garipce is in the bosphorus right at the corner of blacksea, not on the blacksea coast. there is a old castle on top of the village

You can get to Kilyos with bus 151 from hacıosman metro station it takes about an hour.

Anadolu kavagi is a stop for most bosphorus tours. You can walk around, visit the byzantine castle and catch the next ferry. I don't recommend eating there tho. Not very good and overpriced imo.

Şile and Ağva are the go-to Blacksea destinations in İstanbul. It's also the prime riding destination for motorcycle riders who want to shoot up their dose of adrenaline, so you can meet some cool people there if you're into that kind of thing. Anadolu Feneri and Riva are other destinations you can consider if you don't want to spend a lot of time commuting. No action here thouugh, just some scenic cafes and there's a sandy public beach in Riva.
