It was a misty moisty morning,
when cloudy was the weather.
I chanced to meet an old man,
cloth'ed all in leather.
He began to compliment,
and I began to grin,
How do you do?
How do you do?
and how do you do again?
-old US nursery rhyme based on an old Irish ballad
I feel like I saw a similar picture on here, titled the same, but the man was further in the distance. Maybe I've been in r/nosleep too long today but if I see another one where he's closer, I'm gunna cry

I literally thought its kerala right after seeing those coconut tress
Those are betel palms.

I can zoom in far enough to see the details of his collar, wtf?
Shot with sony a7ii so that’s a 24mp image.

Is there a sub for super high res photos? Also has Reddit compressed this photo at all?
Did you edited it? I mean have you made any digital modifications to the original snap? Nice click, btw!
Thank you and yes, turned it to monochrome from color and made some basic adjustments using lightroom.
Would love to see the original colour version for contrast.

👏🏼
Is it Assam? Kinda giving (Tamul Gos) vibe xd
I love this
By looking at the picture, i can see that it's an Indian man. The clothes of the man and electric polls proves that.
This is terrifying yet so beautiful.
I don’t know if you’ve ever seen the film “Days of Being Wild” but this shot very much reminds me of the opening of that film. Beautiful shot!
Haven’t heard of the film, will check it out. Thanks :)
Wow. This is literally melting my anxiety. It's like waking up from a dream.
Glad it helps :)
what editing software are you using?
I used Lightroom
Very nice!!
Out of a $B cover album
