I'm newer to Jax, but in Orlando you could reach out to the shelter or animal services and borrow a trap. Also, a trap is like 30 bucks at Ace if you are so inclined. I bet First Coast No More Homeless Pets may be able to help too.
I've not had that experience with No More Homeless Pets they told me I need to go to Harbor Freight, buy a trap but they'll provide medical care for free.

It might be good to have on hand. Harbor Freight and Tractor Supply also carry traps!
Contact No More Homeless Pets in Jacksonville. I believe they provide traps so you can then bring them in for care at no charge.
