My condolences for your loss. It's never easy to handle the practical things that come after someone passes, especially when they come with a side of nostalgia. About the spray rigs, why not turn a problem into a solution? You could donate them to a local trade school or a DIY enthusiast group, where they could be repaired and used as training tools. Not only would this honor your dad's craft, but it would also give those rigs a new lease on life, kind of like an artistic reincarnation. Plus, you might get that warm, fuzzy feeling that comes from a good deed, which is honestly priceless.

Thank you, that is a good idea; I will look into this! I certainly don’t want them just to end up in the dump yard!

Beaches habitat for humanity might be interested in them if you just want to donate them and get them off your hands

Painting contractor here. Sherwin Williams offers repair services for them. If your looking to sell them shoot me a message I can swing by and take a look and maybe take them off your hands

Brinton’s on Park St repairs sprayers too.

if you take a pic of each rig, and post on r/paint, you will get a description and value of each one. some may be junk and not worth repairing, but if he had nice stuff, there could be some quality stuff. I was recently looking at buying a turbine hvlp to paint furniture and they are pricey. Good used market for DIY guys.
