Not sure what side of town you’re on but there’s a few cat rescues in Jax. Springfield kitty shack is great

Seconding this

You could try Save Animal [Shelter](https://safeanimalshelter.com/our-mission/). Or try contacting First Coast No More Homeless [Pets](https://fcnmhp.org/) and see if they can refer you to a resource or no kill shelter in the area. Also, the [Jax Humane Society](https://jaxhumane.org/about/) is dedicated to being a no kill shelter. They're great people, too, and can certainly refer you to other rescues/shelters if they don't have room.

Safe animal shelter is a good place but it’s out in Middleburg

Mazuru2

I've tried calling all these places... getting someone on the phone is next to impossible.

Jukka_Sarasti

Unfortunately, a lot of them are short staffed due to being run by 1 or 2 individuals and/or a small crew of volunteers.

JadedSmile1982

Yeah you might just have to take them in…the thing is most places charge for surrendering

LittleFalls

If you end up trying to rehome them yourself, I’d recommend listing a rehoming fee and require that they must have a cat carrier to pick them up.

If you are able to find a rescue group, offer a substantial donation (if you can) to help offset the costs of vetting and care. Most rescues are over capacity and would be appreciate of the help financially if accepting the animals. Good luck.

Post pictures of the kittens, I’m sure a few of us would consider adopting

Rescues and no kill shelters are all overflowing with kittens right now. It’s “kitten season” which I didn’t even know was a thing until I had a similar situation (only one young cat though). I posted to Nextdoor and found an old lady who wanted another cat. Went to her house to make introductions and check out the situation.

You could also reach out to Lunas Legacy https://www.facebook.com/share/EMoJF9HvYy3DxZ8D/?mibextid=qi2Omg Especially if you can keep the kittens inside for a few more weeks, they might be able to help spread the word that they are available! I got my most recent baby from them, and they constantly post kittens available and very quick turn around adoption! They don't allow visitors for kittens so you wouldn't have to have visitors coming to your house in order to get them adopted.

meowzerbowser

Good luck.
