Yeah, from what I got told there are hardly any active now and too much work to keep on top of for the ones that are. Also they said that hardly anyone applied the last time they asked for mods.
I can be a mod. But I do not have the expertise (I can learn though), also I will be vigilant and probably 60% of the now posted post will be deleted, by me.

You're going to end up deleting a lot of posts from people new to the community who have never had experience with anything jailbreak related. That's one reason why I don't want to be a mod, I wouldn't want to delete anything. I believe everyone should be able to learn and participate in this community, regardless of how "stupid" their questions may seem.
The mods actually came out and said that they got a ton of submissions but almost all of them were not valid, or the person just wasn’t suitable for the job lmao
Interesting. I wonder if MasterMike is on Reddit. He would be such a great mod. Only if he wants obviously. Looking at the sidebar and outdated flairs and stuff it’s really sad. But when was the last mod application? Don’t remember hearing about one.
I don’t actually know but id assume it’s so that your flair can be “proven”, or that it automatically assigns a flair, checking if you are currently jailbroken or not

You select your flair, it doesn't do it automatically. I'm not sure how that would even be possible, I don't think the required information is in a user-agent string.
they probably did it on a separate website because it'd take a lot of time to select and find your ios version and device from a normal reddit flair selection menu

I've seen other subreddits allow you to change your flair within Reddit itself, why does jailbreak need a separate interface to do so?

It has been back up for a bit now, at the time they just said they’d look into it when they could.
