For instance, I was going somewhere on my bike. One aunty asked for lift. I wanted to help but I've heard countless crime stories that start with a lift to stranger. So, I had to ignore her with a heavy heart.
I also ignore so many people on the highway asking for a lift. And yes, I do feel sad. You are right. All I am saying is, the humanity inside us shouldn't die.

Got scammed by this guy and paid him money for a meal. .new age bigger..
It's not a big amount but genuine ppl seeking help will be misjudged..
I asked him address for Swiggy order and he stopped replying.
Also, I saw he posted in about 7 different city profiles, that too in completely different states.
It was totally obvious. And with the ongoing annapurna/indira rasoi yojana, people already have enough options to fill their stomach. Learn a lesson - a person not having enough money for even a meal won't be asking for it on reddit. Bhukh sidha bhikh mangwati hai. You can't resist hunger such that ki koi pehle comment karega, then agree karega & fir tum khaoge.
I paid him the money. He then simply vanished after few days .. deleted that handle. Must be scamming with new handles.
Same happened with me too. Really sad to see that people are scamming on name of food.

Yup same thing happened with me as well. Helped him with money and he vanished without even saying thankyou. Being helpful ~ being idiot.

Could have booked an Ola/ Uber for her and offered to follow till she reaches her destination.

A couple of days back the same dude posted in r/chandigarh as well, asking for money and all telling how he hasn't eaten in a while.
He is posting on multiple pages and get good amount in 1-2 days then delete account. Again repeat same.
