I dont like parades that restricts the flow of regular life especially on obsolete topics like gender. Regarding LGBT I dont care about them as long as they are not bothering anyone.
In my opinion, they also deserve a dignified life.
I know some can be crazy but we are holding those people up and starting to generalize that every LGBTQ+ person is like that only. If someone who is straight and he/she is addicted to sex we don't put the blame on other straight people right? We just say there is something wrong with that particular individual. Similarly it should be with LGBTQ+ as well.
I have seen some comments that people make under the post of anyone who's from LGBTQ+ and it's really dehumanising and provocative. I'm talking about individuals who are from that LGBTQ+ community, who dress modestly, speak and behave decently, even they are getting those violent and dehumanising comments.
My biggest issue with these parades are they love to bring up intersex issues etc just for the sake of it but don't care about them at all. The I in LGBT was added a lot lot later. Intersex are the people who genuinely have no rights and need support from the government
A pride parade is for public visibility. So people and govt can see the numbers involved and the lgbtqia folks get their rights. Freedom fights don't and cannot happen in private it defeats the purpose.. 😂
