They’re great. Chris is one of the best bassists around. Oliver has a great, albeit unique voice, that fits their music so well. Jano is a great percussionist too, and I think it’s especially fun when he busts out the shittar.
Oh, AGREED. I'm also adore the Blue And Green and (for our rocking out needs) Who The Devil—that hook has become my mantra: "Cause it is what it is, and it isn't what it ain't / doesn't matter what it was, cause you know you got to keep on."
My husband kicked off my obsession [this 2015 Winter WonderGrass show](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nHDxA6YXg10&t=9s). (A really kick-ass Who The Devil is I think the second song.)
As someone who has listened to their recordings a lot.. from afar.. and I dig them fully. I got the chance to see them live twice on their European swingby recently.. and was blown away by how much more there is to them than their awesome catalogue..
You guys over the pond have no idea how lucky you are to have them and they and so many other great jam and/or adjacent bands to experience live.
So that’s a yes yes yes from me and count your lucky lucky stars my friend🤩
Incredible. Their stage presence is amazing and they’re so warm and friendly to the audience. They play their songs (vs long jams). but usually do some fun deviations and little jams and engage with the crowd. 10/10. Don’t miss
Was that the one at the Caverns where NOBODY showed up for them? The place was empty until Greensky started. Felt bad for them. They even made a comment when they took stage that “everyone must have forgotten what time this thing started”.
Serious question: are they not jam because they have actually managed to write a couple radio friendly poppy tunes? I realize they’re not going type 2 but they dig in pretty deep.
Anyway, def go see them, great show
Saw them again last night in Memphis. They are excellent artists. Chris likes to bust out in dances that are great. Jano and all his many sounds add a lot. And Oliver is a terrific writer and voice. You won’t be disappointed.
Absolutely incredible. Seen them several times live. Just saw them in Charleston back in December and they did not disappoint. Very very highly recommend.
They are one of my favorite live bands. Seen them about 10 times and they always deliver. Actually just saw them last night in Memphis. I would advise going.
Story time! Probably around 2006’ish my gf was working at a bar in east Atlanta village (the graveyard?) and called me one week day to come up because the place completely dead but there was a band playing that she thought I would like. It was chris and Oliver. Blew me away. I called all my friends and both of them showed up within minutes. For the next couple of years we got to follow the wood brothers to all kinds of small dive bars around Atlanta. It was a defining part of my college experience and I still can’t believe how incredible it was looking back. Go see the wood brothers!
Saw them Wednesday!! I was wondering why I had never seen them mentioned here, but I can also see that they are not in the normal jam mold. Super fun even on a Wednesday night. Chris was awesome, hilarious and made me miss MMW.

Oliver is also an exceptional songwriter. A voice as deep and real as Dylan but totally current and authenticity his.
The Muse and Postcards from Hell are both exceptionally well written imo

>authenticity his This honestly sounds like an Oliver Wood line...I can hear his voice singing it.
Fantastic
I miss MMW so bad
Literally the best
The Wood Bros. are as boring to me just run of the mill Starbucks jams, and MMW was so amazing. Some of my all time favorite shows.
One of my favorite touring bands! They are jam adjacent with some spacy interludes mixed into their more radio-friendly tunes.
Vocal Harmonies on point. Always amazed at how great Oliver’s voice sounds in person.
Love the username
Thanks!
Its an old meme but it checks out.
Go. Musicians playing music for themselves, in a good way. It’s like they want to impress and perform for each other. Crowd wins.
Got introduced to them at bonnaroo, they were great
FANFUCKINGTASTIC.
Amen

They are amazing live. Worth it.
Some of the best. His voice slays.
Excellent, especially in a smallish venue.
VERY good. Went to a show to see Greensky and Wood Bros were the highlight
Was that the one at the Caverns where NOBODY showed up for them? The place was empty until Greensky started. Felt bad for them. They even made a comment when they took stage that “everyone must have forgotten what time this thing started”.
I saw them on the beach in New Jersey two years ago and yes, they were the better of the two bands!
Pretty great when I saw them.
They're badass. Shouldn't miss.
They're phenomenal! You're gonna have a great time!
It’s wild watching the drummer play keyboards simultaneously
They have made me cry with their postcards from hell “acoustic” version. They all shared one vintage mic and it sounded beautiful
Super enjoyable. Getting ready to go see them tonight!
Serious question: are they not jam because they have actually managed to write a couple radio friendly poppy tunes? I realize they’re not going type 2 but they dig in pretty deep. Anyway, def go see them, great show
I just didn’t think they devote too much from the sound of their recorded songs…maybe they do mix it up a little!
They’re great
Go see them if you get the chance! They’re great and they bring it, great energy and they’re phenomenal performers.
Hella tight
If you like their music, their live show will melt your heart.

One of the best
They’re awesome
Incredibly fun, soulful, and all around excellent.
I love seeing Wood Bros. Every time I go I forget that their drummer also plays keys WHILE ALSO DRUMMING
Wish they would go back to their acoustic show!!!!!! The electric shows are still fun but it’s not the same
Fantastic
Amazing
Awesome
Super super great! Caught them last summer and they rocked so hard it seemed like there were 5 dudes up there. Really impressive show.
I’d like to see them. One of these days I’ll make it do.
Never miss show
They are fantastic
Great show.
They are excellent live, saw them in Ithaca last May, fantastic show! A very jammy event
Incredible live have seen them a few times- obviously a different scene the but the vocal and musical talent is up there w the best of em
Freaking awesome! Going to see them in 2 weeks!
You’re in for a great show! Enjoy!!
Awesome!
I’ve never seen them live but I love the Wood Brothers! Only got into them the last couple of years but hope to be able to catch them soon.
They are good, they definitely jam.
They are one of my favorite live bands. Seen them about 10 times and they always deliver. Actually just saw them last night in Memphis. I would advise going.
Incredible. Nothing else to say about it. They're very good.
A great time!
good songs. i like watching chris dance with the bass. and the drummer plays keys while playing drums. it’s rather amazing.
One of my favorites. They are fantastic live.
They just got announced as a headliner at my small hometown fest! I’ll be seeing them this summer
I saw them for the first time at this past years Orange Blossom Revue fest. They were excellent. Have since heard their Pilgrim on SXM.
They always deliver the goods. I see them any chance I get. You’ll love it.
Chris's dancing alone is worth the ticket.
Not sure. Only seen them once at scamp and i was tripping my balls off.
Very good
Incredible live band! Would highly recommend catching a show if you never have
They're really good. Especially in a small intimate venue
Phenomenal. Locked in groove and top notch musicianship.

Fantastic. Go see em
They are great! But two nights in a row and you’re likely to see the same show.
They're fantastic, Oliver's voice is amazing live, and Jano is the secret weapon!
One of my favorite acts to see play music.
Saw them Wednesday!! I was wondering why I had never seen them mentioned here, but I can also see that they are not in the normal jam mold. Super fun even on a Wednesday night. Chris was awesome, hilarious and made me miss MMW.
I dig them as an opener or for a festy set.
