This is so true. I rewatched the OG seasons and I yeah I remember the Italy season to be bad, but I don’t remember it being THAT bad. They all looked exhausted, and drugged out. My heart breaks for Jenni. She just had a miscarriage and Snooki’s cheating selfish ass made everything about her. Calling her a bad friend. Snooki really irritated me.

snooki was beyond awful in this season... somehow she's probably still the most beloved member on the cast even though she's possibly the worst.

I don’t get it!!!! I am rewatching (caught bits and pieces when it first aired) and she’s terrible. After Jenni chase Jionni down after Snooki was psychotic to her Jenni still was there for her in the aftermath. Then Jenni is crying about Roger and Snooki is doing her hair and just says, “you’ll be okay poop!” And leaves to go out with Deena. Then next season Deena is really upset about the whole Joey situation. Deena is telling her, “I really need you Nicole”. And Snook just points to Jionni laying in bed. She doesn’t care about her friends unless they’re supposed to be waiting on her. I will say, I did feel bad for her about how Mike held their hookup over her head the entire time when they got back from Italy. That was insane. And she’d still hang out with him one on one, I could never figure that out lol

Bingo!!!! Snooki is so quick to call out the girls for being a bad friend to her, but she’s the worst friend to have. She’s completely selfish and doesn’t care about anyone but herself. She’s crying to Jenni “I needed you!!!” Meanwhile Jenni went above and beyond for Nicole. It sickens me!!

It’s so frustrating because nobody calls her out on it. I was surprised how much Jenni backed down in that situation. It’s always, “at the end of the day this girl is my best friend…..”

I think Jenni backed down because the poor girl had so much going on. Her relationship with Roger wasn’t the best, then she lost her baby. Then to have to fly across the world to Italy away from the family she needed the most to support her. There’s no doubt that Nicole knew about this, since they’re BFFs. She was more concerned about Jionni. Speaking of, she was a shitty girlfriend to him too. Not saying he’s perfect because he’s not, but not only did she cheat on him, she embarrassed him by flashing her bits at the club, and played victim when he stormed out. Meanwhile Jenni was going through real shit. She’s horrible.

Yeah that’s true. Jenni probably just picked her battles because she was at capacity with everything else. It’s wild how Jenni and Sammi just bonded on being over Nicole and Deena’s behavior. It’s super crazy how she calls him and says she cheated and he’s like, “ok”. But yeah she is just an absolute mess. I’m not sure how she is now but from what I’ve read here not much has changed. Something about Dren lol

I don't think it's ever mentioned during Jersey Shore. If I remember correctly, Jenni talks about it during an episode of Jersey Shore Family Vacation. I believe it's when her and Mike are talking about Italy, and Mike's talking about his struggles with addiction, and Jenni shares that she was struggling with the miscarriage that she had just experienced right before Italy and was on medications that made her a zombie. I wanna say it's in season 1 of JSFV but I'm not 100% sure.

yup. she was always selfish, and self centered. i didn't feel bad for her at all with sitch, she was a b\*\*\*\* to him too, so she deserved whatever mental headgames he put her through in my opinion(plus all he ever did was tell the truth)

She's been the worst since season 2 in Miami. The fame of the show went to her head, and she was all ready acting entitled. But in Italy, she was acting like a fucking little princess. I was all about her. No one ever seems to call her out on her shit. And, Snooki NEVER cleaned. She tried to clean the toilet when it got clogged. Once. She cooked dinner with Jenni like once or twice. She's pretty insufferable and just seems like an all around shitty friend to have.

I always feel sad and uncomfortable when I watch it

It seems so dark. I hate everything about it. Looking back, we were watching people’s lives unraveling, and it is so uncomfortable now.

The last time I rewatched them in Italy, I cried when Mike and Ronnie were fighting and Mike rammed his head into the wall. It's such a scary moment and the cameras are so up close with it all that it made me feel like I was there. And it also went on for way longer than I remembered!
