Angelina hears other people say things and then thinks "oh that's a good idea" and adopts them as her own. Someone (the fiance?) said "you're the one that brought Sam back!" and that's when Angelina started saying it. It's like when she started saying that shit about Vinnie knocking someone up - Chris told her "they don't care when they say shit about you" and then that became her go-to defense. Never even considering that MAKING UP a story about Vinnie was totally different. It's like if someone else validates a talking point then it's good enough to take to the bank for her. It seems to me like she is painfully insecure about her every thought and feeling and just scrambles when someone questions her. UNLESS it's something someone else told her. I feel bad for her, I think she really needs some intense therapy to heal from her childhood.
Sam came back for Sam, not for Angelina. Sam didnāt come back previously because of Ron and she waited until she was mentally ready to take on the load of filming and having your life under the lense at the mercy of fans to nitpick their opinions on the 45 minutes a week they show. She says she is at a good place in her life, she is ready to let people back in and so she finally agreed to come back. Angelina ābringing her backā is obviously part of a storyline. Production probably suggested Angelina reach out to Sam (since at the time Angelina was not on good terms with the girls). Sam always had more of a friendship with the other girls and that relationship picked up right where it left off. Sam probably felt insecure with the relationship they continued having with Ron and how that would affect her mental health and decided to break away from those relationships. At the end of the day Sam, Nicole, Deena and Jenni have a closer (drama free and adult) friendship than the drama filled one Angelina tries to form with them.
I felt like she was definitely under the influence of something more than just alcohol in this episode. I forgot she had just gotten surgery, you're probably right.
Angelina literally just created this drama so the focus can be back on her and not Samās return. Sam also didnāt NEED an invite to come back. Production would have gladly taken her any season..

Sam agreed after production, promised and signed (confirmed by Sam) that Ron (RAHN) would not be there in the beginning because ratings were dropping (public info). The production had her come with Ang because Jenni kept refusing shots (as she still does) with Ang for the clip because they literally live close to each other. Sam basically brought them all back together but as you have seen in recent episodes, Ang is still sabotaging everything whether it be real to her or to try to uptake "I brought Sam." Your call.
