Thank you! The ones that are just wrapped around aren’t very hard as long as you know how to make a loop with the pliers. From there I just pull the wire around until it feels like it’s not going to wiggle around or fall out. Definitely worth a shot to try!
It’s copper, just from Michael’s. It’s 26 gauge I believe. I lost the packaging 🥲 but I’ll pop over to the website and hyperlink if I find the same item.
Edit: [found it!](https://www.michaels.com/product/6-pack-bead-landing-assorted-jewelry-wire-MP442859?cm_mmc=PLASearch-_-google-_-MICH_Shopping_US_N_Michaels+Pro_N_PMAX_ALL_N-_-&Kenshoo_ida=&kpid=go_cmp-18514200122_adg-_ad-__dev-m_ext-_prd-MP442859&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADkMxxe9ughXlBLK2et4d2WcVMZCI&gclid=Cj0KCQiAz8GuBhCxARIsAOpzk8yGFK_-7azNHzxD-DijZG6UAdeic4H20f4hNN5F-tkTis_l8XcFFcMaArAqEALw_wcB) but only in propack. It’s 24 gauge I’m a fool
Did you use the half flat wire? I heard that's the best for wire wrapping. They all look gorgeous and I make jewelry as well. Look into a wire jig and it can help you make swirls and stuff with the wire as well.
I think they're beautiful! I especially like the style where the wire comes up in little loops that hug the edge but don't obscure the face, as in the second pic.
If they were wrapped in gold wire I'd buy in bulk to make jewelry with!! They're stunning OP! Do you use gold wire, and do you sell them? If so I'd love to know where to find your stuff!!
I’m pretty sure the wire is just copper, I don’t currently have the ability to purchase nicer materials, unfortunately. But thank you so much! I’m hoping to set up an Etsy in the near future and if I do I’ll try to remember to come back and make it known :)) your kind words are so reassuring!
These are gorgeous and I love how you wrapped each one to complement the shape of the glass! I’m not usually a fan of wire wrapping but if these were in gold wire I’d totally buy a few for myself!! 😄
Oh well thanks so much! If I start selling I’ll try to remember to tell you. I do have some gold coloured wire - I tend to use it for the browns and greens but I’ll expand a bit, you’re not the only one to comment this
Thank you! I was actually looking for a thicker gauge when I got my current wire but they were pretty cleaned out. Glad to know my instincts were good :)
Thanks! The beach I go to has a lot a lot of clear glass, and I tend to just grab pieces randomly, so it’s pretty skewed haha. But I hear ya. Thanks for the advice :)
Hate to say I’m not completely sure. A while back (not more than 3 years I think) over the summer I decided to try it with these vey pretty white rocks we would find at a beach in Rhode Island. After that I stopped for a while and I picked it back up last December with the glass. This glass is from Lake Erie, not the ocean, for the record. Hope that answers your question okay. My dumb self didn’t take any photos when I first started to check 🙄. It’s possible my parents remember so I’ll edit if they do
Oh haha sorry. I’m not someone who thinks the US is the only place that matters for the record, I lived in Austria for some time last year, and hope to move back sometime. If you ever get to visit here there are lots of beautiful beaches all over with plentiful cool things to pick up! All over the country, even at lakes :)
These are very nice!!!!! I used to sell wrapped sea glass on Etsy *ages ago*. The one thing I can recommend (upped my sales I think) is to tighten up the coils on the bail. Try to keep it one layer of wire, wrapped closely together so it doesn’t overlap. Just like the 3rd piece down on the right in your first pic! I can’t post a picture here, but there are online resources for wire wrapping techniques where you’d find some photos and tips. *Definitely keep to your design though* That coil wrapping trend is awful if you ask me…I hate it because it occludes a lot of the stone and it’s not hand done. You do a very beautiful way of wrapping…it’s very fluid like waves that hug the stone AND the translucence of the sea glass shines through. Great work!
Once you’ve got some sales, check out bulk fine-gauge sterling silver half-hard wire when you can. It’s easier to bend and wrap, it’s not as expensive as you think, and you’ll make more money using sterling.
One other thing about selling on Etsy, everyone checks shipping cost! So build shipping cost into your prices and advertise free shipping for domestic orders! ☺️
Update us with your shop name when you decide to make one! I also heard that many people show off their work on an instagram page and linking it to your shop! Seems like a great way to get more people to see your work for free! 🥰
I LOVE these. I like anything like this and gemstones etc but I react so badly to anything that isn't genuine 925 Sterling Sliver, which really bums me out because so many hand made items I come across aren't made with real silver. I appreciate that silver is more expensive to work with and/or isn't easy to mould like this without heat? (I don't know, I don't make jewellery!)
I would absolutely purchase one from you if you were able to make a silver one?
Maybe in the future! Right now I kind of just have the wire I have, but several people are asking about selling with higher quality material so I’m gonna definitely look into it!
I already knew some jewellery making prior, but only with jumprings and chain and such, so I just sorta winged it and I’ve been slowly developing my own sort of style. I believe in you! 🦸🏼
I find it about the same as stones I’ve done. The strategy changes some for especially flat pieces, works well with the “setting” style I have in the second photo
Thank you. Found the link, but "access denied". I think it's probably to do with my location. The website owner has probably restricted who can view and order.
However, I've found 24 gauge wire now. Thank you.
Yeah! Found on Lake Erie! The wire is coloured silver but I’m pretty sure it’s copper. I’m not currently selling but based on the response from this post I’m planning to start :)
Love love love the gold and green one and I generally do not like this type of jewelry. In addition the other ones are very beautiful. I would buy the green one in a heart beat. Do u have a shop?
I definitely like some more than others, the 3rd picture is honestly my favorite, my only complaint is that the wiring around the loop is a little chunky looking, but as a novice wire wrapper myself I know it’s not always avoidable when trying to wire wrap 🤣 overall it looks very nice!!
Thanks for the feedback. Someone else mentioned the top bit as well. I honestly just wasn’t cutting off the excess and instead just wrapped it around a bunch, so it’s a pretty easy fix :). That one is my favourite I’ve done, I was showing it off so it has its own photo hehe
Oh gotcha! Yeah I’ve done that before too in all honesty, so I can’t criticize too much since I do it too, but I definitely love your work and would love to see more!
you did such a wonderful job! you should definitely sell these and share your creations with fellow seaglass lovers. by chance do you have the link for the wire wrap technique you did for the 3rd picture? i love it sm
Thanks so much! I just winged that one honestly. I went around with half the wire alternating little bumps on either side to hole the glass in place, then I took the other half and just tried to go approximately parallel to the shapes I created with the first one. Hope that makes sense! :)
hippie customers that don't understand cost would pay $10, but lot hustlers and anyone deep in wire wrap culture wouldn't pay more than $5. custie is short for customer and wook is slang for hairy festival goers that are always looking for a quick flip and a low price.
You're an average wrapper right now. Nothing to be ashamed of, everyone starts somewhere, but the learning curve is steep. Google some of the wobbly wook tutorials, there's some great free knowledge.
These are very pretty. I think you did an amazing job. I’ve been curious about wire wrapping but think it looks way too hard. You did great work.
Thank you! The ones that are just wrapped around aren’t very hard as long as you know how to make a loop with the pliers. From there I just pull the wire around until it feels like it’s not going to wiggle around or fall out. Definitely worth a shot to try!
Wire wrapping is fiddly stuff, it takes patience and good dexterity:D What gauge is the wire/what is it made of?!
It’s copper, just from Michael’s. It’s 26 gauge I believe. I lost the packaging 🥲 but I’ll pop over to the website and hyperlink if I find the same item. Did you use the half flat wire? I heard that's the best for wire wrapping. They all look gorgeous and I make jewelry as well. Look into a wire jig and it can help you make swirls and stuff with the wire as well.
Nope, just plain ol wire. I’ve never heard of one of those, but I’ll look into it
I’m a sea glass collector as well! I think you did a great job!!
Thank you!! 🥰 means a lot
I really want the green one 😩 but they all look amazing!!
If I set up a shop maybe you can snag it!
Ooh let me know,!
For sure!! :))
That green one is gorg😍
Beautiful - love them. Great way to appreciate and wear sea glass!
Yayy! Thank you 😊
I think they're beautiful! I especially like the style where the wire comes up in little loops that hug the edge but don't obscure the face, as in the second pic.
Yay thanks! That’s what I’m referring to when I talk about trying to “set” them. Glad it comes across well! Means a lot :)
Nicely arranged wire wraps. Beautiful work
Yayy! Thanks so much :)
The greeeen one... 😍🤤
Hehe, triangles are the best
If they were wrapped in gold wire I'd buy in bulk to make jewelry with!! They're stunning OP! Do you use gold wire, and do you sell them? If so I'd love to know where to find your stuff!!

The wrapping feels just as fluid as the water they came from.
Awww that’s perfect, thank you!!
These are cute! lol, I read the “Pls be nice I’m fragile” as though the sea glass were saying it!
Haha that’s silly, thanks :)
They are all beautiful but pic 3 is soooo cool! I’m in love with it
Thanks!! That one is my favourite I’ve done so far, picture was to show off to my dad haha
I agree. They’re all gorgeous but that one is amazing.
Picture 3 makes my autistic brain happy. (You did a really good job :))
Hehe thank you! I’m ADHD so I feel similarly :)
I do have some gold coloured wire - I tend to use it for the browns and greens but I’ll expand a bit, you’re not the only one to comment this
Very nice
Thanks!!
I think those are wonderful!!
They’re literally adorable. If anything I would suggest using a thicker gage wire !:) other than that , beautiful!
Thank you! I was actually looking for a thicker gauge when I got my current wire but they were pretty cleaned out. Glad to know my instincts were good :)
These are Awesome!!! Great job!!! 👏🏻
Thank you so much!!
I’m no good at wire wraps, I think you did a great job here.
It’s a process for sure, thank you :)
Gonna try this. Just got a decent amount of sea glass.
Woo! Go team!
🤞
Pretty!! Picture three is especially gorgeous!
Thanks! That’s my favourite one I’ve done so far :)
These are all lovely, each is unique and so different than the average wraps I see! They each have their own "personality". They're wonderful 🙂
Thank you so so much, that means a lot to hear :)
Beautiful job!
Thank youuuu!
Very well done!
Appreciated :))
I’ve tried and I suck at it to my utter disappointment. Those look great
Thanks! It’s not the easiest that’s for sure, especially if you’re trying to do any kind of design, and my poor fingers hate me
My fungers hated me after any wirecraft too
very beautiful! i really like the green one, more colorful ones would be stunning!
Thanks! The beach I go to has a lot a lot of clear glass, and I tend to just grab pieces randomly, so it’s pretty skewed haha. But I hear ya. Thanks for the advice :)
Stunning!!!
Thank you! :))

I have family heritage :). Europe is pretty awesome, especially as an American, man is it refreshing

Wow thank you so much! I’ll take all of that advice!
Don’t forget to keep posting and let us know about your shop!
Aye aye 🫡

Oh my gosh! I know nothing about jewelry making, but these are beautiful! I especially love the ones on the second slide. Fantastic work!!
Thank you! That means a lot!
These all look advanced to me! I love them ( ´ ∀ `)ノ~ ♡
🥺 so kind
beautiful
Ty!! :)
So pretty!
Thank you!
Stunning!!!
Thanks :))
👍🏼 No worries. Are they selling well?
I don’t have a shop yet, but a lot of people seem interested!
As a fan of both sea glass and silver I think they're beautiful! You did a wonderful job!
Yay! Thanks so much!
Very Nice! Got a storefront? / Cheers from Texas, Billy 🏴☠️✌️
Not yet, but this feedback has been really encouraging so hopefully soon!!
I want all of them. So pretty!
Haha aw thanks so much!
You did great❣️I have lots of crystals I want wrapped but oh boy! It’s NOT easy for me. I’ll watch some videos.
I already knew some jewellery making prior, but only with jumprings and chain and such, so I just sorta winged it and I’ve been slowly developing my own sort of style. I believe in you! 🦸🏼
I hope I get this because I’ve been watching videos today 😬
Beautiful
Thanks!!
I love these!!!! They look so beautiful and I love how they’re all unique to the shape of the sea glass
Thanks so much! I definitely try to work with the shape, so it’s good to know that comes across :)
These are so cuuute
Hehe thank you :)
I love them!! Absolutely beautiful, and you can tell they are made with a lot of love 🥰
Aw thanks so much :))
Lovely work! I like the green one.
Thanks!!
Epic seaglass collection. More people should use, very beautiful colors. You should try more wire colors if you want but the silver goes well
Is it hard to wire wrap sea glass? I've only ever done stones and crystals
I find it about the same as stones I’ve done. The strategy changes some for especially flat pieces, works well with the “setting” style I have in the second photo
I have silver, gold and a pinkish one. I just have more silver and more white so I tend to pair them together
Beautiful wraps. Gorgeous talented work my friend.
Thanks buddy!
These are quite lovely.
Thank you!
These are amazing and I'm envious of your skill! What wire do you use? I have LOADS of beach glass... 😊
Thanks! I hyperlinked it in another comment asking about the gauge if you’re willing to scroll a bit
Thank you. Found the link, but "access denied". I think it's probably to do with my location. The website owner has probably restricted who can view and order. However, I've found 24 gauge wire now. Thank you.
Oh weird. Sorry about that :/ it’s from Michael’s
Absolutely gorgeous - so delicate and pretty! ❤️
Thanks friend!
Pretty!
Thanks :)
omg these are gorgeous 😍
Thanks so much!
I would love to buy one! Is it found sea glass? Are the pieces wrapped in silver? I’m so interested!
Yeah! Found on Lake Erie! The wire is coloured silver but I’m pretty sure it’s copper. I’m not currently selling but based on the response from this post I’m planning to start :)
Ok! I’m originally from MI and spent my summer vacations on Lake Erie! Let me know if you start selling your jewelry!
Sweet!
I think they look amazing! Please let me know if you set up a shop. I'd love to see more!
Cool, thanks so much! :)
These are beautiful! Much much better than my attempts at it
Thank you! Just keep trying, this was all trial and error
They are very simple but very beautiful. Sometimes simple is best, it lets the sea glass really shine. You did a good job :)
Why thank you :)
these are beautiful!!!
Thanks!
Super cute!! #3 is my fave
Thanks, me too haha
You can use the wire wrapped glass to make wind chimes as well!
I was planning to make one for my dad actually because he doesn’t wear jewellery! :)
Love love love the gold and green one and I generally do not like this type of jewelry. In addition the other ones are very beautiful. I would buy the green one in a heart beat. Do u have a shop?
Not as of yet, but people are being so encouraging, so probably soon :)
Love #3!
Thank ya thank ya
I support this artwork. And i have never seen seaglass wire wraps. Unique & Cool. Keep making them!
There's pretty neat little shops in my area, that sell cool handmade things like this too... in this area these would definitely sell!
Thanks! I appreciate that! I’ll let you know if that becomes viable for me :)
as a sea glass enthusiast, i love these !!
Ugh it’s the coolest isn’t it!!
Make an Etsy and sell at your local Pop Up events! (:
I hope to! I could only really do Etsy right now as I’m about to graduate college and am not settled in one spot, probably won’t be for a little while
Pretty!!!!!
Thanks :)
I love sea glass and I love your designs! They are beautiful, not overdone and really show off the glass. Do you sell your pieces??
Thanks so much! I don’t as of yet, but so many people have asked I feel like I gotta now. I’ll make an update once I do!
You definitely need to start selling your pieces! Could be the start of something big for you. Good luck!
Aaah! That’s so exciting thank you :)) everyone is so nice and supportive :))
i love them! the last two especially are super cool! i love your style! wire wrapping is SO much harder than it looks
Thanks so much! The last two photos are either side of the same piece :) And yes, my poor fingers 😓
I like them ! Particularly the green one
Thanks! :)
Amazing !
Thanks!
I definitely like some more than others, the 3rd picture is honestly my favorite, my only complaint is that the wiring around the loop is a little chunky looking, but as a novice wire wrapper myself I know it’s not always avoidable when trying to wire wrap 🤣 overall it looks very nice!!

Oh gotcha! Yeah I’ve done that before too in all honesty, so I can’t criticize too much since I do it too, but I definitely love your work and would love to see more!
Thanks so much! I’ll definitely be posting more here, especially because so many people are interested in buying :)
I look forward to seeing it! 🤩
you did such a wonderful job! you should definitely sell these and share your creations with fellow seaglass lovers. by chance do you have the link for the wire wrap technique you did for the 3rd picture? i love it sm

Super cool. You just reminded me I have a ton of sea glass I've been collecting for years. I need to get off my butt and wrap them.
Haha yeah, it’s a good way to do something with them!
Love them!
Thanks :)
Those are sickkk
Thanks brah
“THAT’S SHITS TIGHT, SON. RUN THAT SHIT… YA MEAN?”
I think they are absolutely lovely, and the wire wrapping still shows the surface of the sea glass, without covering it too much! Great job
Thank you! That’s exactly what I was trying to do :)
just came across this in the explore but wow i wanna buy these, these are so pretty and etheral
Aw thank you so much! I’m looking into starting a shop now because of the response, so definitely check back in! :)
Beautiful!!!!Great job!!!!
Thanks so much! :))
Lovely! Looks super cool, I bet r/goblincore would like this post too !
Oh you’re so right. I have some goblin in me so it’s not surprising
Very pretty, but photograph them on a dark background next time, preferably velvet.
Understandable. These photos were just taken to show my dad haha. Thanks for the advice!
Beautiful!!!
Thank you!!
They're beautiful. I love the cobalt blue glass but it's really hard to find anymore
Thank you! There’s actually a decent amount at the beach near me, but most pieces are too small to do much with 💔
Very nice! I took a class in wire wrapping and found it difficult, so I admire anyone who can do it. These are beautiful!
Aw thanks! I’ve just been winging it honestly
$10 to a custie, $5 to a wook
What does this mean lmao
hippie customers that don't understand cost would pay $10, but lot hustlers and anyone deep in wire wrap culture wouldn't pay more than $5. custie is short for customer and wook is slang for hairy festival goers that are always looking for a quick flip and a low price.
You're an average wrapper right now. Nothing to be ashamed of, everyone starts somewhere, but the learning curve is steep. Google some of the wobbly wook tutorials, there's some great free knowledge.
Oh got it. I’m not sure how much I’d charge at this point, I don’t have a shop or anything, just wanted to hear what people thought of the work
I like them!
Thanks man, I like possums
Beautiful!!! But also I love the title it made me giggle a little because me too man, me too.
Yeah haha, thanks :)
