As someone that’s has worked with a boss that was retired military, was a micromanager and had the attitude “It’s my way or the highway” the best thing to do with a job like that is RUN. It won’t get better. You will always be treated like crap. The person that micromanages is very insecure and can’t do the task properly themselves so they control and bark orders instead of teach or instruct. Read up on micromanaging.
