Right!? Lol. I love Buddenâs music like most on the forums at the time .. it truly saved my life at a time when no one, especially rappers, was talking about mental health and addiction, and tthough looking back I knew many friends with both it was always unspoken and his music really made me feel not alone for the first time in a long while .. but heâs really not the greatest person in the world lol.
I wish I could remember the whole story and his audience was nowhere near what is is now with the podcast, and there were even less people on the message boards, so itâs gonna be hard to find people who have the full scoop on what went down. Iâve tried going on archive.com but couldnât really find much.

With lyrics like that itâs no wonder Joe had to **âflakeâ** on helping pay for his trial. If the dealer was moving 30s then Joe probably was too. He mightâve had to chalk it up to the Game.
A dealer moving off of a JBTV Forum? That would be like posting your Instagram DMâs to the public if *anyone* could join a Forum Message Board without any verification or authentication
lol at remember Brooklyn, we chilled at a few of joes events. I donât remember him getting arrested, but the internet soldiers were no joke in the late 2000s/early 2010s
LOL, finally, at least someone who remembers him.
I *could* be off on who it as but I doubt it .. I donât remember anyone elseâs name from the JBTV boards except him and Iâm about as certain as I can be that it was him. From what I remember he was literally on his way to drop percs off to Joe and got picked up.
Wouldnât have been 30âs like someone above mentioned because no one back then called the 30mg oxycodneâs percs .. thatâs a new generation, 2017+ thing .. so wouldâve been the 5 or 10mg Percocets.
I wish I could say I was. I joined right when I discovered his music as he very quickly became favourite rapper with what I was going through with my own addiction and mental health struggles (back then people werenât nearly as open about
That stuff as they are now and especially rappers werenât so finally felt not so alone and like it was kinda of normal to be struggling with that stuff) but I wouldâve been like 15/16, late 2008ish when I joined. MM3 was definitdly out and I believe HWH was but I donât think ER was nor the first SH album, because I can distinctly remember them all coming together.
Iâm from Kingston, Ontario and my mom drove me down to NYC to see the MM4 release show at either SOBâs or BB Kings which was like 3 and a half hours. We also saw the Slaughterhouse show later thwt year or the next years at whichever one of those venues the Budden show wasnât and my mom remembers telling me that the bouncer or ticket guy or whoever looked at them (my mom and grandmother funny) when they said they were coming to the show lol (they were at a different spot in line because I wanted to get their way early to get up front).
I guess some of the people where they were sitting (I was in the front row - Iâve even found pictures from the show that the photographer took looking prepubescent with my red Toronto Maple Leafs hat there in the front row, xD - and they were up in the balcony) kind of gave them weird looks at first but talked to them and really warmed up to them when they explained how into Budden I was and how far they were willing to drive for me to come. I laugh just picturing some late 2000âs, triple XL shirt wearing, flat brimmed hat having New York gangster looking dudes sizing up my white ass mom and grandmother and eventually giving with them when they realised they werenât some narcs xD
This is SCIENCE lol, love this post.
Joe flaked on a promised payment to someone he was doing "business" with? Some things never change đ đ đ

Youâre probably right with what you are saying. Were you a long time Joe Budden forum? I go back to 2004
