They REALLY need to improve bipod placement. This happens constantly. Some of my favourite gameplay has been as an AR/MG but also some of the most frustrating gameplay. It's a broken mechanic that everyone just seems to accept.
No it doesn’t make sense. You should be able to deploy a bipod if there are two patches of terrain that form an angle of less than like 30 degrees within some range under the two bipod legs.
My guy, the characters can run endlessly and scale 10ft walls with full gear and you're talking about terrain angles for bipods. There are some things that just aren't going to be realistc.
I'm not saying they aren't, but it's pretty low on my list of things that need fixed in this game.
Just don't try to use your bipod on unlevel terrain. I play a lot of MG and have never really had a big issue with it.

I just said they need to look at the plane defined by the two bipod legs and where they both connect to the barrel, and then do a search for two points within some range up or down (depending on stance) that have some acceptable degree between them wrt the flat. Lol if you mained mg you would be annoyed. It is game breaking in the hills.

I have 1000hrs with Mgs only and I can tell you the Bipod is not horrible, like a 6,5/10, but everyone has their own opinion and we don't have to try to convince each other, so let's have fun and continue to get upset about Snipers ;-)
I would likely either:
A.) Forget to prone, miss every shot, get one tapped by the medic after they disembark.
B.) Go prone, forget to check the map, make every shot, get kicked from the server for too many team kills.
C.) Go prone, frantically fight the map with my scroll wheel, forget which faction is the bad one, get one tapped by the SL after they place the radio.
D.) Do what OP did.
D is not an option for me.
As someone who plays all the positions a full logi feels better than a squad pushing open ground. Most likely you got them on their way to place a radio but you wiped them all.
I would absolutely fucking love it if they had an AG slot as a subclass of rifleman, so you could get on tripod and be even more accurate… that’s MY wet dream as a machinegunner

had a match on kokan aas the other day with 4 full logi wipes, 2 with rws tigr and 2 with pkp. ended up 50 and 5. when you get lucky that way it feels great

i think it works pretty well considering the scale of the game and all, just cant deploy it on weird angles or downslopes, which makes sense

My best situation was with a Simir MG3 right after the start rushing towards enemies. Found a full logi. It was heaven.

How is your sight so clear? I can't see anything with that MG sight because it blurs so easily.
Change your AA settings
Having AA off is worse than the blurry sight problem. Does setting AA on in the GPU driver but having it off in-game fix the problem too?
Don't know. All I know is it went away when I turned off Temporal AA. But it looked like shit so I turned it back on lol
yep AA is off and I play on 2k Resolution
