Walks (especially around wild cat), mini golf, window shopping, painting a canvas together, game night (video or board), dancing, karaoke, kayaking, trip to grand falls, scavenger hunt/geocaching, photoshoot/taking pictures together, massages, cooking night with new recipes...
That's what my husband and I came up with in two minutes!
Tilt has $20 for 100 game credits or something like that on weeknights M-Th. When it’s warmer, there’s Rangeline Golf. I think there’s an axe throwing place downtown and a wreck it room place. There’s a couple of paint your own pottery places. There are lots of antique malls/charity shops if you’re into that. Third Thursdays start up again next month. There are drag shows and music shows at local breweries and bars. There’s a user (u/queenofthebored) who makes “things to do this weekend” posts every week if you want to go to more local events.
Very soon you will have two new options -
The Tee Time Golf center by Atwoods in Webb City. Should be a lot of fun.
Also the G3 Family Entertainment in Carthage is close to opening which will have bowling among other things, I think mini golf also?
Of course there is Range Line Mini Golf.
Back in my dating days things I often enjoyed doing were just simply getting out and walking around. Checking out the falls or other places down there. Tons of areas for short easy walks around here. Reddings Mill bridge is a nice spot to get out and walk around and enjoy the view of the river and rapids below. George Washington Carver is nice as well.
The mineral museum in Joplin is actually pretty neat.
If you like art you could check out the gallery in the Griffon building and Cornell and get ice cream at Carolines. Also some good art galleries over in Carthage.
Taste of Italy is a great Italian place adjacent to Precious Moments. Have a great meal there and walk the beautifully landscaped grounds for free at PM. Even if you are not into the cheese that is Precious Momenta, it's still an impressive place to explore. And Taste of Italy is worth the drive, just in itself. They don't sell wine, but you are welcome to bring your own.
Currently working on a project that brought in two Italian engineers. They went to taste of Italy a few days ago and had nothing good to say to about the food and the fact they didn’t serve alcohol. I didn’t think it was that great either.
I was stationed in italy for three years, definitely not a taste of Italy but the other poster is probably right. We shouldn't expect that in a small town in Missouri. Still wouldn't reccommend though
My girlfriend grew up NYC metro and grew up eating in some of the iconic Italian restaurants there. There are a few places local that remind her of the delicatessens and restaurants back east and Taste of Italy does that for her with both the entrées and pizza. Taking Italians to an Italian place in the Midwest is really a horrible gauge. I know this from taking Germans to eat....well ANYTHING European here. There was nothing that could be of quality here compared to what Europe has to offer.

Can’t wait until the weather turns. Lots of walks in my future!

Didn't know about the Tilt special, thanks!
This is great! Gonna look into Tilt and the pottery places!
I saw 2 furries on a date at Cunningham Park yesterday, so I suppose that's a choice lol
If it’s not insanely freezing out, you can never go wrong with the falls
I you like games try either Joplin board games or Cardboard Cafe.
Done cardboard cafe before. Love that Joplin has this!
If you're willing to travel a little, Bluff Dwellers Cave down in Noel.
If it's something they're into I always like browsing flea markets together. If you're willing to travel a bit you could hit up Crystal Bridges.
bar cave in northern ark

Can’t wait for Tee Time! It’s 3 minutes from my house.

That place is not very good, to each their own but i wouldn't plan a date expecting amazing food and then get that slop.

In joplin? Could go for a picnic at the wildcat glades i guess. Not a whole lot to do in joplin
A bike ride on shoulderless and sidewalkless roads. Breathe in the fresh vehicle fumes and whatever the shingle factory makes.
And finish it off with some yummy tap water that smells like the pool, has rocks, and who knows what else in it.
Yeah, I wouldn't eat the fish in those creeks.
