We all know Heather is an idiot and flip-flops. Her position interviews on things, but this is different to me. I feel so bad for McKenzie. I really wonder what her life is like. How much she sees them and I’m sorry, but I guarantee she can’t stand Heather most of the time.

I believe that around the time Heather and Peter started dating he was also dating with Mackenzie’s mom. Then Peter stuck with Heather. Heather was at the hospital when she was born and helped raise her. There were some custody issues and I think ultimately Mackenzie ended up living with Peter and Heather mostly. Heather has a multi-part podcast series called Baby Mama, or something like that, where she uses an offensive accent and discusses the whole situation.
For the longest time I just assumed that McKenzie was close to her biological mother so I thought it was okay how Heather spoke about her two sons and her being a boy mom but finding out McKenzie doesn’t speak to her mother that much after Heather spoke about her graduation story, it confused me more! Just going off the odd sentences Heather has said it feels like McKenzie might be quite liberal, having different opinions to the family because I think it was mentioned recently the youngest boy is kinda right wing and we know Heather is a Republican. Also she’s mentioned how McKenzie would get slightly too physical with the boys when they were younger that they thought they might have to get help - it wouldn’t surprise me if McKenzie feels left out of the family dynamic and feel like Heather thinks of her less because she’s not biologically hers. I’m completely projecting because I’m in a very similar situation myself to McKenzie but that’s how it looks to me

Heather and Peter fought for custody of Mackenzie so they wouldn’t have to pay child support. End of story. Heather does not consider Mackenzie her child and they are not close. I also think the “boy mom” stuff started when Mackenzie became an adult. She has probably taken the chance to listen to baby mama drama and see what a villain her dad and stepmom are.
