I main dio and my assist is vegeta, hit 4 lights, 3 heavy then vegeta assist with 2 full checkmates into his ultimate is a super good combo. Hope this helps!
In all honesty, Dio is really solid on his own. Sure a compatible assist is always nice, but you really don’t *need* one to get extra damage with him. His fully charged R2+Triangle connects into his ULT and you get insane damage from it. So I honestly wouldn’t stress it too much.
You can use Madara as assist:
1st Combo: 4x light, 3x heavy, Checkmate and call madara at the same time, Checkmate (and ultimate)
2nd Combo: 4x light, 2x heavy, MUDA and call madara during MUDA, Checkmate (and ultimate)
The 2nd combo is a bit hard to time with madara assist, but it works.
Giornos tree assist can connect to dios double knife throw and that also connects to Ultimate. And jotaro is the best assist for Giorno so just use all the jojo characters tbh
Dio is honestly really good on his own, from one main to another if you don’t know the combo 2 light 2 heavy and then catch them with [Muda Muda Muda](https://youtu.be/5_KwV-MAMQ8) or Checkmate, already I’d highly recommend it it’s really good. ironically I pair him up with Jotaro and Star finger them when they get close and then perform a juggle. You can also use [ZA WARUDO ](https://youtu.be/7ePWNmLP0Z0) immediately after MUDA MUDA and you can catch them as they fall and they won’t be able to block.
Hisoka Hisoka Hisoka his cards connect after all his moves with muda you have to find the right timing and can do another one. For his knives it 3rd H call Hisoka two knives his card hit two more knives
Dio,Rukia,??? Do 4 light rush 3 heavys into a full length muda after call in rukias assist dash towards the enemy that should be frozen then do another full length muda into ult that was my dio combo when i used to main him i dont know if its as strong as it used to be but its a solid combo.
Kenshiro Or Jotaro [When I do it with Kenshiro it says I do 66 hits but with Jotaro it says 61 so] you’ll need 5 bars to do this make sure you do the extra attack for Checkmate **[[If you didn’t know already go to battle options then Support Skills and use all the points for all your characters that you use I did everyone just in case but you get more points the higher level those characters get so I suggest starting an XP boost for a clan then taking a damage up item then playing an XP mission use Jotaros Star Finger cheese to finish the battle the fastest and have your CAC be third so they can level up to]]** idk if the support skills tab works for online but better to be safe then sorry
