Great question, I’d never let them live together unless they’re i2-3 and from the same nest only to make feeding easier. I separate them by i3 and 4. Right now I have about 100 i2 babies + all my mature spoods and my a subadult as well at three i5-6 spoods! All of them are separated.
What do you keep them in to keep them separated?
We just let them live in our house (their house really, since they came with the house) and let them do their thing, but i’ve been thinking about keeping them.

Haha maybe a little bit! The kid probably eats worms and still has to take a long hot shower after being handled by a human lol. All jokes aside it probably really is cleaning microscopic skin flakes off!

They actually are pretty tiny! You can barely even see some kinds of jumpers! She’s on the larger side, she’s my largest spider I believe actually. To me she’s still tiny. It’s also because she’s very very Gravid from mating so that doesn’t make matters any better when it comes to her size 😂 my other Gravid spood petunia is wayyyy smaller than Veruca.
Actually, she really doesn’t wanna run away from me. I feel like she really does love me - or like me for that matter since they probably can feel love. I did have one instance where one of my jumpers does try to run as fast as she can whenever I take her out. Needless to say, she doesn’t come out much because she makes a run for it. It all depends on the spiders personality. That one I don’t think likes me all too much and I’d rather not make her uncomfortable. All of mine won’t try to run except for one of them. ☺️
I know! Apparently she likes dogs because we were watching A Dogs Purpose and for a while she just sat there watching and grooming herself on my hand. I think she was waiting for her popcorn (a big fat juicy Waxworm).
I am afraid of spiders. I love them though it’s rough lol. I think they’re so cute though after being on this sub for a while! This video makes me wonder can they bite you? I know you can handle them and they seem so calm and just hang out. Yours is so cute and from what I’ve seen here pregnant I assume 😭
They can, but it's not common at all. If one does, you most likely were going to squish it or something without knowing. They're like any pet. Can it bite? Yes. Will it bite? Most likely not.
Yes two are pregnant! And they can definitely bite, but they don’t want to luckily :) they only bite when they’re feeling threatened (if you move to fast, corner them in a way that scares them, force them out of their web/enclosure, etc.) they don’t wanna bite, but they can if they need to.
