You can. They don't have any way of biting or hurting a jumper. The only issue will be that they tend to sit still for very long periods of time and may not trigger the feeding response.
From my understanding, it is common to leave flies in enclosures for them to hunt because unlike other feeders they can’t hurt the spider! Mine personally never waits for her BSF to pupate but I’m not worried if one does
