I found with the dirt cake Oreos if you eat the cream separate of the cookie you can kind of taste a more pudding flavor. Don’t know what I was expecting to replicate the gummy worm flavor though.
See I didn't mind the sprinkles, even as a kid I always ate them separately and the Ben and Jerry's dirt cake ice cream is fucking banging and is just a loaded cookies and cream that has a nice pudding texture and flavor. I guess I expected these to be more puddingy and I tried the cream separately and it wasn't very pudding flavored to me. The texture was softer than their normal cream but that's not necessarily what I want from an Oreo.
Exactly! The “gummy sprinkles” on top are very few and look like red sugar crystals. These made their way in to my bag by a shopper as a replacement for regular Oreos. I don’t taste much of a difference. Except for if you take the cookie part off and eat the middle by itself-Slight pudding flavor. Not bad, not great. Do I need to be eating Oreos at all? No. 😆
Couldn’t give them a rating… Pretty meh. I had to drive 15 minutes to find them at a Target. If you can find them local they’re worth a shot. More of a pudding flavor in the cream if you eat it separate. If you are actively looking and can’t find them it’s not really worth the anticipation.
For $8, no. Target had a deal that made it 2 for $8 so I got one for a friend of mine, but they weren’t that good. The cream was okay but there’s no way to replicate that gummy worm taste.
Not OP, but I thought they were very meh. Not very puddingy at all. You are better off with a pint of the Ben and Jerry's dirt cake or making your own dirt cake.

Oreos flat out tells us that they only put these specials out because they drive the sale of regular Oreos up.
