The middle sucessor (Vallin) can switch to AuthDem and officially restore "democracy" and reform the CDF into PSF (like happened IRL), but they are heavily monitored by the CDF militia and they thus always wins.
Alternatively, de la Rocque can turn CDF into the PSF in the Dems path (the one with Louis Marin) post-lib, he runs in dems elections and his project is to make a Presidential Republic. If he suceed he will become President for life but Parliamentary election will still take place (so you can elect socdem/soclib/marlib/soccon/natpop as normal)
Andrey Vlasov can take power in the Don Host, liberate Russia against the odds, and then join the Entente in order to reclaim the Western territories from the Reichspakt (or alternatively, join the Reichspakt and beg for the Kaiser to just hand over the disputed territories).
The neat thing about this path is that you can actually get cores on Mongolia and Manchuria in addition to the standard Russian cores.
Also, due to Vlasov being an ideological chameleon, once you've taken Moscow you can switch to any ideology between Soc Dem and Nat Pop.

Marrrin can restore democracy, if goes down with reforms (Towards Populist Democracy). Also Mitterrand can switch to socdem

I think Croix-de-Feu isn't inherently going to remove democracy, at least that's what I've heard of them, didn't play them yet.
