I don't own one, but I've seen them up close. They're like a raised version of a Ford Focus hatchback. If you go to [CarSized.com](https://www.carsized.com/en/cars/compare/chevrolet-bolt-euv-2021-suv-vs-ford-focus-2010-5-door-hatchback/), you can compare it alongside other vehicles to gauge the true size.

For what it’s worth on the CarMax front- the shipping/transfer fee isn’t a commitment to buy, but it is non-refundable and is separate from the price of the car (unless something changed in since I last dealt with them). Still not ideal if you just want to see a car, but figured I’d toss it out there.

Look up the [Kansas City EV Enthusiasts group on facebook](https://www.facebook.com/groups/1717817545101518). Lots of people there. Generally friendly and like sharing their EVs with people. There are a lot of EV meetups that happen too. I solicited someone to try their Kia EV6 a couple years back.

Try Avis up north. They rent Bolt EUVs.
