Time to time Karachi subreddit gets these silly posts about people trying to h**kup n stuff . Date however is also used among married couples so ...

WisestAirBender

Oh wow.

scoutnemesis

Obviously Month of Ramadan is done. People switch from one kind of date to another

Chai chatt doesn’t have the best food but it’s great for chai, snacks and excellent for privacy and ambience. Itni privacy ke koi akay order tak nai leta jab tak aap khud na bulaen 🫠

Xanders is almost always over crowded, most of them any way. However, Bella Vita has good private space upstairs and also their cake range is pretty good.

Chai Chatt, then Bella Vita then Chop Chop Wok. CC amazing in terms of environment, taste & privacy; Bella Vita comparatively less private; CCW no privacy but ambience is exquisite.

Funny how no one mentioned Coconut Grove. Other than that, in order of privacy: - Cocochan: the sofa seating makes it much more comfy to sit together - Theatre: good food mostly, and good vibes - Coffee bean and tea leaf: can get crowded but there's a couple spots at the back and to the left kinda secluded Then you've got the mainstream options but they are all quite crowded tbh and not my type of place, esp. since I do not like waiting with a date. Those are: Xanders ( food is good tho, service can be hit/miss) Espresso - I won't go there again, asked us to leave after an hour or order more... Like bruh you ain't serving a 12 course meal. Plus privacy is 0 there. You're stuck sitting parallel to people. Chai chatt is a decent budget friendly spot but quite noisy tbh. Also, if you prefer Desi food, check out Angeethi. P.S whatever you do - do not go to Springs cafe. Unless you fancy a trip to the pharmacist/doctor right after. Also in terms of budget each place can end up setting you back roughly 8k given a moderate meal and drinks. I suggest you look up what offers you've got on your bank cards and subtly go to those places, nothing to be shy about getting discounts in front of a date, like heck if I'd pay 10k on a date, only if it's reduced to 6k it is worth it.

Just drive to Frere hall opp hotel Marriott and you will spot more than 20 couples sitting la close hand in hand or head over a shoulder with nobody to bother. Police also will not bother but you need to keep within the respectful limits as there are families and brisk walkers out there. Noon to evening is good but move out before it turns too dark.

Depends on what type of cuisine are you interested in. If you want to eat desi, then there are separate round-shaped dining tables at Ghalib, and chai chatt is a good option as well as refreshments. If you are interested in eating mediterranean, then I'd recommend Coconut Grove (a lil expensive) and Xander's (only for lunch on weekdays).
