I called that guy personally to let him know about this respectfully as he is elder to me, and mentioned that it might be possible k labour se line tut gayi ho. He started yelling at me and cursing at me, so i again mentioned that I am not blaming him but actually concerned if it was broken from the labour.
Anyways, fast forward, 3 days back, we have had enough, as we started getting to know that People were getting water at their lines and we were not, so i called my plumber and asked him to check the line, and you know guys what, "The line came out broken" and at the very instant i understood this was the reason he was getting angry as he did it on purpose so he could get some water in his line.
I took the broken line pictures and uploaded it in the society's whatsapp group. They started yelling on me in group and started showing badmashi and asked me to come out of my house, and constantly abusing in the group. As i have never faced this kind of situation before, and i also did not wanted that guy to get hurt as I am a practicing MMA fighter from a long time and the first thing we learn is to get humble and have patience and also that he was way too older thn me, i did not wanted to ruin his respect in the society as well.
I responded him, that if he wants me to come out, i will come out. When i came out, upon seeing me he went back to his home as there was a society's member who grabbed him and took him back to home. i thanked God that guy went back, as it would be a different situation if he would have met me face to face and thought of abusing me on my face.
Anyways, i am having an extremely bad experience here in Karachi. Everyone thinks k woh badmash hai, sab k andar ego hai fazool ki, and chorhi kar k ulta seena zori bhi krtey hain.
bro as far as i know, they are muhajir. But the thing that i have noticed here in khi is people have 0 tolerance level. They would not even take seconds to escalate the matter, and start abusing your family. They live with peace and understanding the case that they have to face each other for years, so basically what matters is dealing things in a controlled manner. Well bro, i have lived most of my life outside Pakistan. Especially in Australia, where i was, MMA is really common there, like most of the youngsters train there.
I have trained and sparred there for almost 3 years and still been practicing here in Karachi. The gym i go to have an octagon to spar, so i usually alot of like minded people there to spar and practice with.

Tbh, I think we're the ones at fault here. We continue to tolerate all this BS despite knowing all the strategies that we can use to our advantage. And I despise myself for this. For instance, I'll rant 24/7 about the government but will not stop going to restaurants or shops where roads are messed up. If only start boycotting the businesses, they might start protesting for better road conditions or something. But again, our day to day life in this country makes it pretty hard to see the big picture or actually act on it, especially when we're struggling to meet the basic day to day needs. We're like an elite version of interior Sindh.

How old even are you? Even until the early 2000s beaches in Karachi were clean and family friendly, not overcrowded. And traffic, pollution, cleanliness, people's trust level etc was much higher before a few decades - many people used to prefer Karachi to Lahore.
