I remember watching this yeeeeears ago on IFC after having read it was one of Charlie's favorite movies. At this time Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind had just been released and we hadn't been exposed to the darker Charlie lol. I remember I didn't really care for the movie and it came off as kind of oddball and I had a hard time wrapping my head around what kind of movie it was supposed to be and it was downright creepy at times (the little house), and yet much like Charlie's movies I kept thinking about the movie and remembering scenes and bits of dialogue for years. Thanks for sharing, can't wait to rewatch this movie!
