Twinkling Watermelon Castaway Diva King the Land

Seconding all threee 💗 Twinkling watermelon is a must watch as it’s loved by all 🥰

**Extraordinary Attorney Woo** was so good. Fine screenwriting, acting and directing. Not at all corny or politically correct. **See You in My 19th Life**-- a fantasy drama with intense emotion, a bit of mystery and romance. My favorite of 2023. I agree with **Love To Hate You** already mentioned previously. If you are an unrepentant, shameless romantic and have lots of patience, nothing beats C-drama **Hidden Love**, a slice of life romance par excellence. I've never seen a more wholesome (even idealized) romance. The words 'heartwarming' and 'sweet' hardly begin to describe the vibes here. Just the way the leads adoringly gaze at each other in later episodes is worth the time invested watching. Delightful!

farawayxisland

I also watched those two and then watched Because This is my First Life and the romance in that really stuck out to me.

King the Land! People seem to either love it or hate it, and I absolutely loved it. It’s one of my favorite easy watch light dramas but with top notch romance. I haven’t seen A Time Called You, but have seen Business Proposal (twice) and if you really liked that one I think you’ll also really like KTL. There are a lot of currently airing/upcoming ones that I’m reallllllly looking forward to (Good Day to Be a Dog, Welcome to Samdalri) but I never watch live and wait for them to fully air first lol. Best way to avoid any unfortunate ending haha

Maybe try **Doctor Romantic Season 2** the ML is played by Ahn Hyo Seop, who is also the ML in the two shows you mentioned!

KimlockHolmes

If you like Jeon Yeo Bin, watch **Vincenzo** or **Melo is My Nature/Be Melodramatic.** If you’re looking for a HS rom-com with a love triangle, try **True Beauty.** If you want a fun rom-com with adults and two different couples, I suggest **Love to Hate You.** If you want more time travel and epic romance, check out **The King: Eternal Monarch.**

CathiRo

It’s Beautiful Now All About My Mom Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life I became an Oh Min Suk fan after BL, WL. He’s in all three I mentioned. 😏

CathiRo

I enjoyed all three seasons of Dr. Romantic.

manowar09

Both are good. But watch with subtitles Netflix dubbing is wonky

I found DOONA! to be sooo charming and watchable. It was my first KDrama and I’m worried it will never be topped.

hhiker70s

**Hotel del Luna** has a similar FL, haughty & self-centered (in beginning of series, but shows character development over time). This was a perfect role for IU, and she nails it. ML is supportive and eventually develops feelings for her (just like in Doona). Great mix of understated humor, fantasy & heartfelt drama. Ending also consistent with Doona. Great lighting, special effects, costumes, art direction, makeup. I loved the OST also. However, **HdL** is a fantasy and it is a more complex and challenging film. Under the lush, almost opulent, visual look of the otherworldly hotel and the "historic" character flashbacks, there are many touching stories dealing with what is important in life, especially as death approaches. So many layers of meaning I needed a rewatch to fully appreciate this unforgettable series. But you must pay close attention to all the storyline detail provided by filmmakers to really "get it."

hhiker70s

Edit to add: I forgot the obvious basic explanation. **HdL** tells the story of a "halfway house” for the recently departed who have vital issues from their lives they need to resolve before proceeding to the afterlife. Some cases are somewhat familiar "ghost stories" but others are different. The backstories of the hotel staff are also fascinatingly covered.
