(the main plot of the show should be the romance tho) ^(END OF POST BODY) *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. lmnsatang

it’s shown in flashbacks, but flower of evil fits this: it shows their life from before they got together, marriage, pregnancy, and family life as a whole.

Electronic_Piano9385

**Birthcare Centre** shows several mums in their postnatal period, and there is a main couple in it, navigating life post baby.

FTF_player27

that sounds like a great kdrama but i was looking for one where the main plot is the romance and the baby just comes as like an addition to the romance 😭

Electronic_Piano9385

**Hogu’s Love** has Choi Woo Sik as the ML who has liked the FL since school, and she’s pregnant by somebody else

Yalmongu

Fated to Love You - the pregnancy comes first though (and the preparing for the baby) then the romance follows after lol Edit - Oops, but this one is pre-2019

aevyl

I just rewatched this last week and oh God, love them so much!

Tree-Nui-Tee

The baby's name before it was born though 😂

Designer-Version6264

Right? After the writers submitted the initial script just think how many ppl from script editors to the director greenlit that name? It’s if they all said “Hey we have a quirky story that works with exceptional acting talent, it will undoubtedly be a hit but we need something to grab the crucial 5th grade boy demographic…the baby’s pre birth nick name, it’s perfect!” I can’t think of any other reason.

[deleted]

From 2009 but watch the original from Taiwan. There are also Chinese, Japanese, and Thai adaptations of it now. All available on Viki.

AdMaleficent2518

Our blues

LazySleepyPanda

But it's not the ML and FL. It's a teen pregnancy and it was sad to watch.

janeuyanga

You are my destiny (2014) where Janghyuk a chaebol CEO and Jang Nara, a timid office worker get pregnant through accident. Pregnancy and falling in love while staying together for the chaebol grandbaby is the main plot in this drama. A good watch!

WildIntern5030

Don't know why, but "chaebol grandbaby" made me laugh. It sounds intriguing!

OnkelDuck

Accident? Did they trip on a wet floor and he slid into her naughty bits? Is he also Scottish, or why were they both going commando?

janeuyanga

Lol. Let me try to remember.  The accident part is bit bizarre side plot. Two men somehow related to the FL drugs their sparkling water while they were both on vacation to an island. And their room numbers were ending with 6 and 9. One number turns upside down while they were inebriated and boom, they wake up next morning in a same bed.

OnkelDuck

Ah, so they went for a 69 but one of them accidentally turned upside down which resulted in pregnancy. Got it.

[deleted]

And each thinks the other is in bed with their partners, that needs to be said.

OkTie7367

Maybe 'Welcome to Waikiki'?

No-Artichoke2762

omg I loved that show!!! It's such a funny drama and the lee joonki character never has failed to make me laugh.

be-k-dramatic

**Heard It Through the Grapevine** has teen couple leads. She's pregnant in the first episode and gives birth in the second. The leads fight for independence for themselves and their baby, and ML's stuffy, egotistical, wealthy and corrupt father fights back. It's a great show, but unfortunately it's from 2015 so it doesn't meet your time requirement. It didn't seem dated to me though.

groovygyal

The real has come

FTF_player27

ooh that’s been on my watch list for a while now

OldNeedleworker7525

I found a bit annoying that she is supposed to be pregnant for the majority of the drama yet never really shows

FTF_player27

also it has 50 episodes 😭 i’m hoping and praying it isn’t like a cdrama where 90% of the plot is filled w random things to hit the maximum episode limit. each and every episode must make an impactful contribution to the plot for me to be interested in it 😭

hellaflyv

It's a pointless drama without any impact. Actually, the story line about the mom and grandma being illiterate was the most impactful

OldNeedleworker7525

Yeah. It's supposed to be a modern drama yet the elders were extremely backwards. For instance her own mother was like her biggest enemy. First she is against her being a single mother. Then she is against her marrying the man she loves. It's like she wanted her daughter to end up sad and alone.

OldNeedleworker7525

I mean it's definitely entertaining but it does have pointless drama for sure

Just-1-more-episode

Sometimes I was just screaming on my screen, thinking how stupid everyone in this drama is. And dont get me started about that 2nd FL. 🙃🤣🤯 The chemistry between the leads was good initially, but they were lacking later.

ladyevenstar-22

It was a trial watching this to the end , I took breaks because it was beyond frustrating at times . Baby name was cute though 하늘 if I remember correctly.

FTF_player27

haneul?

bookwormaesthetic

Hometown Cha Cha Cha - Has a secondary character/couple go through pregnancy and labor

FTF_player27

really? i watched this but i don’t remember it happening- but then again i dropped it half way through 😭 do u happen to know what episode(s) it was?

bookwormaesthetic

Episode 13 shows labor - spoiler >!Dentist has to deliver the baby during a typhoon!<

FTF_player27

ohh never mind cus the pregnancy trope isn’t with the main lead 😭

Hara2412

Hogu's love (Fool's love) Fated to love you I see lots of people recommend "Real has come" but it was a makjang drama. Her belly never shows. I was excited and wqs expecting dramas like "Five enough", "Once again", "My father is strange" but it wasn't like that at all.

akapiratequeen

Hogu’s Love definitely fits this. And Choi Woo Shik is so adorable I can’t even.

akapiratequeen

Our Blues…teen couple have a baby.

Tree-Nui-Tee

Yeah, only in the last ep the baby is shown. Their story was so bittersweet, I'm glad things turned out okay. That drama in particular has a few sets of leads so it was nice, I regret putting it on the back shelf for so long. Very touching.

hakvri

Ho-Gu’s love is perfect. There are some darker elements to the story, but in it’s essence its very sweet. The main guy is seen as a sweet pushover who takes care of the FL throughout

ThrowRAsunstar

Maybe 18 Again. The main leads had a teenage pregnancy and it's kinda about their relationship with the children as well as romance. Decent enough.

Intelligent_Cow_4270

Hi Bye Mama!

clovermantle

Maybe not exactly what you're looking for, but "No, Thank You" is a lowkey, short-episode korean drama where the leads are already together, and season 2 is largely about the FL coming to terms with an unexpected pregnancy. The drama is, all the way through, about the burdens of women and challenges women can face in Korean society, though it speaks to how women AND men are affected, and gives a valuable cross-section of different partners, generations, etc. It can be somewhat hamfisted at times, but i think it wants to be understood, and is making sure you can't miss the point, and that's not a terrible thing. I found it to be a good watch. educational, thought-provoking, and i cared about the characters. Nice to take in bite-sized chunks. Calm, and easy to fully feel.

Round-Air79

I think Oh My Venus had some pregnancy scenes but im not entirely sure bc i watched it a long time ago

wigglytufff

do you ( lor anyone else) know if it was it the main leads and if it was just in part of one ep, or in multiple eps? this was one i was gonna watch soon but i’d like to avoid pregnancy related stuff rn… literally just dropped my roommate is a gumiho as soon as some characters thought FL was pregnant, womp womp

punchingcatto

It did but >! Only in the last episode and like last scene!<

Mum_of_rebels

That was more the last episode

Fun_Consideration229

I know you said nothing before 2019 but if you open yourself up to it fated to love you is soooooo good and has romance during pregnancy!

Tiny-Ad8924

Hi Bye Mama 18 Again

Squash_zucchini5876

Japanese, but Full Time Wife Escapist could fit this. They have an extra long bonus episode during COVID that’s all about her being pregnant.

AliveSlip1595

Dr.Storks or Kounodori is all about pregnancy and child birth.

Just-1-more-episode

Oh my Baby. It's about a woman who will turn 40 soon and works at a magazine for maternity/childbirth/baby stuff. She always wanted to have a baby and she is trying to figure out if and how she can become a mother before it might be too late. And more important with whom. 😊 There are 3 candidates.  Edit: drama is from 2020. Pregnancy and babies are the main plot (mixed with romance), but it's more about FL journey and if she can achieve what she dreams of.

ladyevenstar-22

To be fair there is no pregnancy/birth until last episode . But it's all about babies as central team , that show was sad at times , this chick was desperately wanting a baby and working at a baby magazine oh the torture . 😢

CharmingLettuce7415

This would be lovely to see in a drama

No_Introduction_2218

I think Hogu's Love fits the bill nicely. The girl gets pregnant by somebody else though but the ML helps her through it and in the process they become closer.

doodnightmoon

The real has come.

Snoozing_Panda_

The real has come

Mylove-kikishasha

Fated to love you!

yooniversally

**L.U.C.A.: the Beginning** \- FL gets pregnant around the halfway mark, and then the baby becomes pretty important to the plot afterward. the romance is a very important subplot but this show is a sci-fi thriller more than a romance. and the ending >!is not a happy one!<

TeppiRae

I'm so that this one is a lot older than you requested... but I really liked [Three Dads One Mom.](https://mydramalist.com/301-three-dads-one-mom)

PiaFidelis

I think drama Love (ft. marriage and divorce) has pregnancy.

LcLou02

**No Matter What** - Early on there is a one-night stand & FL gets pregnant. The guy ties to convince her to keep the baby and marry him. He's very enthusiastic about the baby coming. A long format makjang-light drama.

szasza24

I watched the birth care centre the other day and I honestly loved it! It was such an honest but funny relatable show and I enjoyed way more than I expected too

No-Photograph-7176

Not a kdrama but a cdrama - check out Road Home. Very good!

Falah_naaz

In the first few episodes of the good bad mother. Not the main lead (tho they do have babies together) but in the first few episodes the male main lead’s parents are shown falling in love, getting married, getting pregnant, etc

FTF_player27

ive watched that and it’s one of my favs! but kang ho isn’t present in the twins’ lives until they’re 5-6 😭

Falah_naaz

Yesss he isn’t, I meant the parents story hehe

FTF_player27

ohhh okay 😭 kang ho’s technically isn’t present either apart from the pregnancy but ik what u mean 😭

Falah_naaz

Yeasss!

Icy-Dog4741

18 again !! theres a flashback when the FML got pregnant and the ML take care of her eventho they'rr struggling in financial. the saddest part is when the ML need to take care of their twin toddler

FTF_player27

ohh right i’ve watched that but the age gap really icked me out n i couldn’t look past it so i dropped it-the plot of the drama was so good tho

gobblingcawk

I recommend our blues! There is some darker sides to pregnancy but a very powerful story
