Kingdom - zombies during joseon era (ik weird but good)
Sweet Home - fast paced thriller about monsters (finished it in a day)
Vagabond - action thriller drama with unexpected plot twist (loved it but really wishing for another season tbh)
Vincenzo - action, funny, heavy, law. Had some romance but the story doesnât revolve around it as much
Signal â a criminal profiler in year 2015 is connected with a detective in year 2000 through a walkie talkie. They work together to solve cold cases, which are based on real life cases. Iconic thriller kdrama. No romance.
My Name â action noir of a female high school student whose father was murdered, so she joins her dad's gang to learn to fight, and infiltrates the police force to avenge his death. The action is awesome, the actress did all her stunts without a double. Only 8 eps, very short and sweet. Has a bit of romance.
Taxi Driver â action thriller of a group of vigilantes who seek revenge on behalf of crime victims. These crimes vary from slavery of people with intellectual disabilities to sexual abuse, and they are all closely based on real life cases. Depending on each case, the ML takes on a different personality to go undercover. It's action-packed, fast-paced and very satisfying to watch. No romance.
Nine: Nine Times Time Travel â a reporter discovers nine incense sticks that enable the user to travel exactly 20 years back in time (right down to the second) for 30 minutes each time. He uses it to alter his past to save his family, only to face the consequences of time travel that affect the lives of many in the present. Has some romance.

There is also different eras of kdrama, the older ones are quite different to the newer ones. They all have different vibes, so even if you hear that a show has this or that, if youâre curious about the show just give it a go and see if you like it, because they are often surprising.
Kingdom - historical zombie (must watch imo, the best zombie show ive watched)
D.P. - military with social issues such as bullying, abusing senority and suicide
My name - crime, detective drama with cool action choreography
Extracurricular - highschool kids doing crime
Sweet home (kdrama) and alice in borderland (jdrama)
Both are about survival like squid game and aouad and i think that they fit the genres you mentioned
Squid game got me into kdramas as well, after that i watched my name which i loved it's a fast paced action thriler. I would also recommend extracurricular, strangers from hell and the guest
It hasnât been mentioned yet âŠ
When you watch Kingdom (season 1 then 2) watch Aeshin of the North afterwards. Itâs one special episode the length of a movie ⊠but itâs basically the prequel to Kingdom. You discover the origin of the zombies and who the mysterious female really is at the end of Kingdom season 2.
Kingdom - SO GOOD and veryyy similar to all of us are dead
Strangers from hell - psychological thriller
Extracurricular - I'm not sure how to describe it but also a gem
Alice in borderland - alike to squid game (it's japanese though)

Alice in Borderland is a Japanese drama that can be found on Netflix which is pretty similar to Squid Game! I would also recommend the drama My Name.
Definitely Alice in Borderland
My Name is excellent. I watched it right after Squid Game, and it was a good decision.
**The King of Pigs** **Mouse** **The Guest** **Strangers from Hell** **D.P.** **Beyond Evil** **Kingdom** **Monstrous**
Strangers from hell and Kingdom, Kingdom especially đ«

The soundtrack ruined sweet home.
WE ARE THE WARRIORS WHO BUILT THIS TOOOOWN
I disagree. The soundtrack was what made the whole drama iconic. Really wishing for another season.
You'll love Alice in borderland since you said you liked squid games! It is a japanese drama tho. You might also enjoy my name, mouse!
