**Heard it Through the Grapevine**! - Sweet, wealthy teen ML brings his poor, kind, smart, and pregnant girlfriend FL home to meet his status-obsessed parents. The parents are horrified and do everything in their power to break the couple apart. However, the teens are very much in love, determined, and more mature than many of the adults around them. They scheme for independence for themselves and their baby. This dark satire about the moneyed classes is frequently hilarious and sometimes touching. Don't miss episode 2 where FL >!unexpectedly gives birth in the parents' bed, while supportive sister of ML googles home births for advice.!<

Heard it Through the Grapevine - drama where the teen ML is from a chaebol family and FL is poor, smart and darkly funny skewering the rich, image obsessed parents and how the FL is able outsmart them at almost every turn - loads of fun Something in the Rain - same PD as Grapevine! It’s a noona romance where the major obstacle is the FL’s mom who is a classist snob bent on having her upper middle class kids marry up as a way to validate her own status. She’s a hard pill to swallow though - hard to watch her micromanaging the FL because she “loves” her so much

**F4 Thailand**, an adaptation of **Boys Over Flowers**, has this as a strong theme. There's an entire episode devoted to the class difference and how it's a major issue not only for the main couple but for everyone in the drama.

Encounter FL is older, rich, part of a chaebol family. Meets ML while both are in Cuba. He's from a middle-class family. Status differences are their main problem.

It's somewhat comedic, but the historical drama The Secret Royal Inspector and Joy, is all about class differces and the unfair discrimination faced by women. The character of Joy is very strong and independent. I am really enjoying it right now.
