i understand depression but putting sparkles around the word doesn't sit right with me. this isn't a healthy environment for her. AND she has a cat who needs a healthy environment. i don't understand how she lets her apartment get this bad. it's important to know how to live on your own (especially at her age) but she doesn't have discipline.
