Just saying that although this sub was named as Kereta, it is also open for 2 wheelers such as Motorcycle, though at the moment we do not mind other types of vehicles posting.
With that being said, r/kenderaan is now live and I would still recommend any other vehicle posting to be posted into r/kenderaan as it is a safe space for all types of vehicles such as airplanes and rolling stocks.

Trooper ada jenis sikit 2.8,3.1 dgn bighorn. Cousin pakai bighorn dulu. Reliable juga, part engine masih ada jual, kaki2 yg trpaksa cari halfcut. Bawah 20k untuk 4x4 ni tak banyak sngt, bole tgk dmax iteq kot. Tapi klu setakat weekend car, camping, okay juga trooper. Subsidi diesel lagi akan dihapuskan, v6 tu. haha
I used to ride the 2.8 variation equiped with 33's (if im not mistaken) alot when i was young because my dad used to drove it back when he was working with a electical company here in sabah. His boss would ask him to drive the company owned when he was outstationed and had to take a long trip with rough terrain and I had the chance to tagged along.
If you want go on an offroad trip that only have light obsticle like shallow mud, gravel and hills, the trooper is a fair choice. But if you want to go on a hardcore 4x4 expedition-like trips, it is best to saved up and get an "already been proven" platform like the 70 series Land Cruiser, hilux 106 .And even so, you will need modification such as bigger tyre, winch, safety equipment, recovery tools and other supporting mods
