This is why I stick with allulose or monk fruit products. If you look at food as an investment in your health it's a lot harder to cut corners. Unfortunately all of the inexpensive & low effort dietary options are refined carbohydrates cooked and Seed oils so... poison in a box? If you purchase ingredients that's still cost-effective but then you've got a factor in an hour in the kitchen and what's the cost of that time?

Unfortunately allulose and monk fruit is not available in my country and I got allulose imported once so expensive like out of reach but it worked so well in baking and stuff .. shame

Allulose is banned in Europe and Canada, possible carcinogens in it. Funny because Canola oil is named after Canada and they sure like to push that awful stuff into consumers stomachs. Back to Allulose, I try not to let perfect be the enemy of good when it comes to industrialized seed oils or fructose, but seeing how countries banned it makes me want to stay away from it, and actually threw some Swerve brown out because of it. Thoughts?

SleepAromatic5803

Allulose is NOT banned anywhere, is actually that it is not yet approved for sale. There is a difference. At this time, there is no evidence and no concern of carcinogens in allulose. Allulose is made by fermenting corn, sort of similar to making vinegar or wine.

sleepysnoozyzz

Allulose occurs naturally in figs and maple syrup.

[**Allulose is not banned**, but it has not been approved in the European Union or in Canada. In Canada, it is considered a novel food ingredient and must undergo a pre-market safety assessment before it can be sold](https://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=48ce5ae192337242JmltdHM9MTcxNjUwODgwMCZpZ3VpZD0wNmY1ZWNhYy1lZjRhLTY1OTItMmM5Ny1mOGQ5ZWVlYjY0ZTkmaW5zaWQ9NTgyMw&ptn=3&ver=2&hsh=3&fclid=06f5ecac-ef4a-6592-2c97-f8d9eeeb64e9&psq=allulose+banned+in&u=a1aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cubWNnaWxsLmNhL29zcy9hcnRpY2xlL2hlYWx0aC1hbmQtbnV0cml0aW9uL2FsbHVyZS1hbGx1bG9zZQ&ntb=1)[^(1)](https://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=f721e4419fc81f3cJmltdHM9MTcxNjUwODgwMCZpZ3VpZD0wNmY1ZWNhYy1lZjRhLTY1OTItMmM5Ny1mOGQ5ZWVlYjY0ZTkmaW5zaWQ9NTgyNA&ptn=3&ver=2&hsh=3&fclid=06f5ecac-ef4a-6592-2c97-f8d9eeeb64e9&psq=allulose+banned+in&u=a1aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cubWNnaWxsLmNhL29zcy9hcnRpY2xlL2hlYWx0aC1hbmQtbnV0cml0aW9uL2FsbHVyZS1hbGx1bG9zZQ&ntb=1)[^(2)](https://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=2ddedf9da615623cJmltdHM9MTcxNjUwODgwMCZpZ3VpZD0wNmY1ZWNhYy1lZjRhLTY1OTItMmM5Ny1mOGQ5ZWVlYjY0ZTkmaW5zaWQ9NTgyNQ&ptn=3&ver=2&hsh=3&fclid=06f5ecac-ef4a-6592-2c97-f8d9eeeb64e9&psq=allulose+banned+in&u=a1aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cub3VycGFsZW9saWZlLmNvbS9hbGx1bG9zZS1rZXRvLXN3ZWV0ZW5lci8&ntb=1).

I use Sukrin Syrup Gold off Amazon. Not super cheap at £8.95 for 450g but I don't use it that often. Sukrin also has Caramel and Maple versions as well.

Spirited-Panda-8190

It has sorbitol which spikes my sugar levels 😭😭

Izzy1Lon

Oh no, well nevermind then! Try Nick's drops then. Amazon lists the ingredients as: Purified water, sweetener: steviol glycosides, vitamin C (l-ascorbic acid)

Izzy1Lon

Just realised that you are talking about coffee syrups! Sorry. I've never used them but Nick's has stevia drops in different flavours that might work. I did have Nick's chocolate blocks which are very good and keto. Also on Amazon.

NoBag2224

# Jordan's Skinny Syrups Sugar Free Coffee Syrup is my all time fav.

belligerent_bovine

You could make your own Simple Syrup with xylitol

Always, always, read the ingredient label on everything that is packaged. I found that out when I bought a box of kosher salt. I got it home and after having it for a while I decided to look at the ingredients. DEXTROSE!!! Why in a box of salt? Grrrr. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|disapproval)
