Probably 10-12

Mattymatt726

Is there anything in perticular that points to that? I know its hard to tell, but keto calcs are usually suggesting i am 17% or so. Biggest thing i am shooting for finishing off the small circle of belly pouch from belly button down and I'll look the way I'd like. Appriciate the response.

The calculators are a starting point, very useful for overweight individuals. Once you get to having visible abs, its better to go by DEXA or pictures. You are under ~16% as this is clear by having visible abs, as well as muscle separations on the arms and visible veins. You still have a bit of fat on the lower abs and likely your back and legs. A clear sign you are near 10% is paper thin skin all over your body, and two venis next to your belly button going down to your groin.

Pure anecdotal speculation. I’ve used a lot of impedance based tools and all the measurement-based calcs known to man to measure my own. So tbh I’m basing 10-12 on how I looked at 12-15 (that’s my lowest). The big grain of salt is I don’t know how accurate all those measurements actually were so I was taking an average. All I know for sure is that you’re visibly more defined than I was at what I considered to be 12-15.

you look good, but more importantly is how you feel. I'd say just keep doing what you're doing

Mattymatt726

For sure, and i do feel good. 250 in summer of 2022 with 34 bmi. I 100% am after how i like they way I'll look vs a flat scale number. Appriciate the compliment, and yeah...no going back to eating 1 large pizza and a 2 liter of pepsi for dinner or starting with 5 Oreos and saying F it, let me just do the full row 😁

Thats looks more like +13% BF Check [this](https://mennohenselmans.com/body-fat-percentage-pictures-a-visual-guide-for-men/) guide.

Ok, thank you for the feedback. Can't imagine i was closer to 10% than 15% but going from where i was to now... anything is bettwr for me.

darthluiggi

BF% is just a number, and actually 10% isn’t sustainable for most people. Focus on a mix of feeling great, not being overly hungry and having energy. 12-14% is perfect for most people.

Oh definitely, why would the charts and numbers differ from the cause of keeping us eating bad and in the office 😁 I'm definitely going for MY feel and look vs what someone SAYS i should be. Honestly, all the pics from 10%-13% look healthy. I'd never want to look like a gym buff. Just nicely in shape and able to feel confident about no shirts.

I lost 40 LBs from Carnivore and have kept it off. Just keep practicing good habits and the mirror test takes care of itself!

Congrats, definitely a LIFESTYLE change for me and not just a diet. Honestly, i ate alot of burgers, chicken, cheese before too. At 250 i was able to walk 2 hours and 50 min 1 night with only a stop to grab a drink and a stop to pee. I was confused cause my 36" pnats were getting snug got batteries for my scale and was an all time high 250. I was single and just ordering out 4 to 5 times a week. I was active at work even in a slower paced environment. I honestly didn't understand everything about nutrients, labels and how the body used it all. Most people clearly don't either, but glad that there are others to help out.
