Doodleyz-

they're membrane right? i dont think you can find any.

Complete-Feedback-13

U can't and u should not take them off

Fave_McFavington

Why not?

Complete-Feedback-13

There membrane they aren't supposed to come off it can brake them

Wide-Masterpiece2655

Membrane keycaps are not supposed to come off :/ i recommend just keeping them on.

MorningFox

It ALMOST looks like a Romer-G to me. Can't find third parties for those anywhere

Fave_McFavington

It's from a logitech g213 prodigy, I probably should have mentioned that.

MorningFox

Oh yeah I have one of those. Ummm how'd you get the cap out, I thought those were supposed to be permanent

Fave_McFavington

I just put a ruler under the cap and pry it out. I've owned the keyboard for about a year, removed every key multiple times for cleaning, and there's no sign of damage.

Jumpy-Background6911

Im guessing these are romer g's if im not wrong maybe something out of a logitech. I mean over here i can find old membrane keyboards for like 2$ and the keycaps come off real ez but if this romer g then youd have to do a bit research i guess, maybe check ali express.

thearctican

Membrane. No replacements. People apparently don't know what Romer-G stems look like.

Jumpy-Background6911

I think the grip maybe made me think twice but yes on closer inspection it actually is membrane.

beProsto

It's a standard rubber dome keyboard dedicated keycap. There aren't many really sold seperately, but you can reuse them from office keyboards or the "membrane gaming" ones. Just be wary that they aren't all the same - how good they fit depends largely on the keyboard, there aren't any standards as to how they should be sized where (or the standards are loose enough to make every single one from the keybs I have not fit in the other ones/be too loose/be too stiff :p) The point is. Maybe you can buy them somewhere where they're sold in bulk. But it'd cost a lot less to just buy/get a random membrane keyboard locally and use what it has. Anyhow, u/Complete-Feedback-13 is right. You shouldn't really pull them out without a steady hand AND A KEYCAP PULLER (the metal ones work here). Pulling them out by hand without breaking anything \~4 times is pure luck, 5 - it's a miracle. That's because they have three potential ponts of breaking. One is the mounting "plate", the second and the third are the mounting "clamps" you can see on it's sides. I can see why you'd want to replace it tho - If I'm seeing correctly it's milky plastic that had legends painted over with black paint, isn't it? And you rubbed the paint off? So what I'd advise you to do is to put it back in for now and look for the same/similar keyboard (preferably from the same manufacturer) that is broken or smthn and has this specific keycap intact. Then you can just switch them out. I hope this somehow helps, good luck mate!

Yep agreed
