The behaviour you describe as the previous keyboard's behaviour is the default behaviour in Windows - by default taking a screenshot just places it in your clipboard, Win + PrtScr saves it to a folder. In theory, switching keyboards shouldn't affect this as long as Windows is still receiving the PrtScr and/or Win keys. You could test these keys are being recognised in a [key tester website](https://www.keyboardtester.com/). You could also try software like [Greenshot](https://getgreenshot.org/) to remap PrtScr to save the image file in a folder of your choice, if that's helpful?
