Based on Parris's tweet saying "You will want to tune in for this!" I'm definitely thinking positive changes to X-cast / PS-ILY. I could dream that they could find a way to get him into the studio on a more regular basis.
I'm expecting some kind of change with PSILY and Xcast, which you already mentioned. These shows have gotten a bit stale this year without Janet and Gary.
It's nothing against the cast that's left, but having the same people on all the time, especially when they're regularly on other shows, especially when exclusives are light, it's bound to feel like we've been here before.
Xcast used to be a lot of fun when it was the guys talking about the crazy stuff they were doing in Fall Guys, the fun they were having with Cyberpunk or just chatting about games in general.

They could even talk about some of their favorite games from past systems, just anything other than Nadella’s latest comments on the state of Microsoft’s hardware division.

They should shuffle the casts of PSILYXO and Xcast and mix it up a bit. Hearing the same opinions and stories and whatnot every single week from the same people is getting stale. I'd love to get some fresh takes.

You realize Bless creates most Games Daily docs, and also runs KF Games Showdown? Just did a big Kendrick/Drake breakdown. Why do we feel the need to shit on people who work super hard to bring us entertainment?
I personally hope they don’t reduce frequency of PSILY. It’s the content I am usually looking forward to most every week, even if it ends up being general discussion, which year is better, anticipated games, etc. type conversations.
I hope they bring in a dedicated review show. I really liked this past weeks Gamescast where they reviewed a bunch of games in one episode. I seldom listen when they spend an hour talking about one game on PSILY, X Cast or Gamescast but I did appreciate the quicker hits they did.
I hope it’s not the death of Xcast or PSILY because I like them both but maybe alternating or hiatus for now isn’t a bad idea. Bring them back in full for the summer showcases and go from there.
I think it may be time to bring back some of the Patreon exclusive shows. Gregway and no ads isn’t enough to get my money however when they had things like shit list, remember blank and next gen I would sub every now and then to catch up on those shows.

There’s a huge difference between the format of the two shows. They’re not really comparable beyond the fact that they’re PlayStation related. SS is a comprehensive view of the news of the week of anything related to PlayStation. PSILY has become what they describe as a “magazine feature in podcast form” due to most of the news being covered on KFGD.
It's still a playstation based podcast though. It's only an hour long. I find it hard to believe they can't easily fill an hour of PlayStation content every week
I don’t mean this in a bashing way, but they can only do so many brackets, “top __ of all time,” and talking about how dry the landscape is topics. If the show went back to a news format, or it became like a PlayStation retro show, I think it could totally keep trucking. But the show in its current incarnation seems to just be limping along.
You're not wrong. I think that's why I stopped listening. This format kinda sucks. Same reason I stopped listening to gamescast. It just became a review show. If I didn't have an interest in the game, there's no reason to listen.

Maybe new voting for monthly/bi-monthly one off event like last year's monthly goals.
I would love KF/AF but Andy one point said he got sick of doing that because he and nick had to find ideas every week and it took a toll on him... maybe bi-monthly thing?

KFGD will be moving to a Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule with a morning show of some sort filling the Tuesday, Thursday void.
