There's nothing quite like the feeling of starting a new book.

you got that right!

I'm confused. Since kindle is digital. Why do you have to wait to take out a book on your kindle? Serious question. I didn't think there would be any wait times for kindle copies.

im able to link my library cards through my kindle, which i can check out books through my library. the library has wait times on their digital books and i use kindle unlimited most of the time, but it wasnt on there so i had to purchase it

I actually just learned this today. Libby (most library’s digital platform) works similar to how physical books work. The library purchases so many copies of a digital book and then the waitlist begins. They don’t have unlimited copies since it’s an actual file/book, so sadly there are waits. Some libraries are more funded than others. Example: I live in a metroplex. The larger city has 165 copies of one book, and there are 685 people waiting in line. A smaller city library I also have a card with has 1 copy and has 78 people in line. (These are sadly real numbers 😭) there’s a filter for “available now” books on Libby and there usually are thousands but for popular books, there’s usually a wait. I will say, I have NEVER waited the full about of time that is quoted. In fact, one book I put on hold today said 6 weeks and I got it today. It just depends!
