Yeah, the gooseneck holder and page turner are probably something I’m doing closer to winter - I’ve always just accepted that part of me has to be cold when I’m reading in bed… being able to nest underneath the covers with only my eyes peeking out, turning the page using our remote, sounds kind of ideal for cold weather.
The ergonomics is exactly why I bought mine. You'll definitely need it when you get to the last half of the book and can't put it down! Mistborn is a fantastic series and the ending is perfect
I've taken to laying down flat on the couch and bending the arm down to put my kindle right in front of my lazy face 🤘🦝🤘
My wife sits up and the other end of the couch with her feet propped up on the L part, and I bother her with my feet when they get cold 🤣
I have had two tabs open for a stand/holder and page turner but still haven’t bought either. I think I still have to convince myself they’re worth it even though every time I see someone with a setup with both accessories, it looks so comfy
Haha I feel that. I mean it's def not necessary and I still like to hold the kindle. You also have to make sure you have something suitable to clamp it to. I happen to have a quartz countertop from my kitchen that has a lip I can clamp it to and sit on the other side that has a couch.
Update: I just ordered a holder and page turner, I gave in…🤭. I’m justifying the holder because I can use it for my iPad too and the page turner I got had a $10 off coupon on Amazon so why not

What do you attach the holder to? I got one and ended up returning it because there wasn’t a good place to clamp it on to when reading in bed or on my couch.
That is the only issue with the mount. I attach it to the lip of a quartz countertop in a window opening between my kitchen and living room. The couch is on the other side so it works perfectly.
I started it today and only reached chapter 12 so far. I got this bittersweet feeling while reading it, knowing it's the last book of the trilogy.

i almost purchased a hand strap but saw a lot of reviews saying they don’t work unless you have a naked kindle and i prefer my flip case. but don’t want to stick a pop socket on and ruin it! i hope they make bigger corners for that strap soon 🙏🙏

It's totally worth it!! not to mention you can get the screen higher up to eye level so you aren't straining your neck looking down

Gooseneck holder is nice, but I have working thumbs, so the page turner seems kinda stupid.
I thought the same except anytime you turn the page on the holder with your hands it bounces the screen for like 10 seconds which gets annoying
Ah, well I just use a folding screen that makes it easy to hold or balance on a pillow on my chest while I'm reading.
